Tried to visit this spot for breakfast (which was a Saturday) and the place was supposed to be open by 10 am, but it was still closed at 10:30 am. so I ended up ordering lunch from here later in the day. My husband and I each tried the 3 piece catfish and fries meal. Fish was seasoned to perfection and tasted delicious. The intricacy of attention paid to the flavors in the soul food is straight from the soul. The food is truly made with love. Ever have that amazing home style memory as a child? This restaurant brings those nostalgic memories back. I highly recommend this spot. A local, young restaurant. It's already proving to hold it own weight against the other guys around town.

This is the BEST place in RACINE! It was all so delicious, and they had the best customer service so kind and welcoming. I fell in loveee; we will be spending all our money here lol. Please give this place a try it’s well worth it. Large portions decent prices! Thank you so much uptown
