Taqueria la Camelia Reviews
Some of the best tacos I’ve had in a looong time. Tripas were nice and crispy. Lengua cut into thick strips. Cabeza - so tender. Not stingy with the meats either. The salsas, red (hot) and green (no hot), were perfect. Look, it’s a hole in the wall joint, don’t expect anything fancy, they got what they got and it’s damn good.
Great food and great service.
Very authentic, very tasty. Menu is small but the food was great

Taqueria la Camelia is a small, quaint Mexican restaurant. Some of the best tacos are had here. The tripas are nice and crispy, the lengua is cut into thick strips, and the cabeza is so tender. They are not stingy with the meats. The salsas, red (hot) and green (no hot), are perfect. It is a hole in the wall joint, not fancy, but the food is damn good. It is good for later afternoon munchies and true Mexican style quick street food with a variety of different meats. The food is good and the service is good, but there is a definite language barrier. It is a struggling restaurant that should be doing better. A food truck in the parking lot is confusing. People are confused if the restaurant is even open. Inside, it was empty and staff had to be found. The food was great, but there needs to be a way for people who don't speak Spanish to order. Prices should be on the menus. When the menu says 2 burritos and a side of rice, serve 2 burritos with a side of rice. The cooking skills are great, but business organization skills are needed. The burrito was loved. The people who run it are super sweet. They gave a vase of flowers for coming in on Mexico's mother's Day. The family is so kind and the tacos are delicious. Avocado can be added to the chicken and steak tacos, and they have carnitas on weekends.
