“My wife and I had never eaten at this place. We were in town for taxes. Afterwords, we were hungry so we decided to try Sportsmens Bar & Grill. We were impressed with the food! We will have to try their Friday fish fry. All told, I would recommend it to friends.”

“Great food & prices, awesome service- with a friendly staff. Heck, even the other customers are nice! Bridgette makes a perfect Old Fashioned. It was our first time trying out their fish fry and it won't be the last.”
“Good genuine people. Awesome bartender (jenna). They also have rooms for rent above the bar. Nicer then most hotels. This will be a definite stop again along my travels.”
“I've been regularly enjoying the "treehugger" whole wheat based sourdough bread purchased from Mississippi Market on east 7th and had to give a shout out as this is by far my favorite loaf of bread ever. Each slice is like a meal it's so packed with goodness and so thick with nutrition. It's equally tasty too, and once I start smoking bongers after sundown it's a fun test of will to try and prevent myself from eating more than two slices.”
“Great food, wonderful service, nice pool tables, great outdoor patio with live music often.”

“Thursday night smoked ribs were amazing!!! Great smoky taste with a rub and seasoning that wanted for no additional sauce. I've had ribs all over the USA and these are among the very best! I highly recommend you call ahead to reserve yours and make the trip to Jen's Choppin' Block to experience this small town treasure for yourself!”

“Great food, service and atmosphere! Made me wish I lived closer. The service was amazing. It was packed inside and out but we never waited for a drink and the food was fast too, and delicious. We'll be back!”
“It’s About Time: Where the Beer Flows and the Cheeseheads Roam
It’s About Time is the kind of bar that sneaks up on you—in the best way. You walk in expecting a quick drink, and next thing you know, you're swapping stories with regulars and wondering how Tracy, the owner, manages to keep the place running like clockwork while still making everyone feel like a VIP.
The bartender’s fast, attentive, and genuinely nice, just great service and good vibes. The crowd? Friendly as can be, even if they do bleed green and gold... but dont hold that against them lol... they’ll still let you in if you root for the wrong team—
It’s About Time isn’t just a bar—it’s a local gem with personality. If you leave without a laugh and a new nickname, you probably wandered into the antique shop next door.
And that is what's Stirring The Kool-Aid Ace!!”
