“12-17-22 sat at bar this evening to see if I was going to get the same great service as sitting in restaurant area. I should not have thought any less Ana the bartender was alone at bar, restaurant not too busy but steady this gal handled both drinks and surrounding tables perfectly. She knew who was next and properly took care of in order. I had asked how chicken wings were cooked she said fried (yes) I asked if celery was served she said no, but when my extra crispy (my request) wings came to me there were celery sticks !! I also had the soup, cream of chicken and it was wonderful creamy and oh so good. This is a place for great food (kudos to the chef!!) friendly staff, priced right and you don’t leave hungry!!”

“We have been impressed with Papillions everytime we visit, we love their Cheese Fries (a whole order will literally feed all 3 of us and then some). Plus we recently used there back room for my baby sprinkle and everything was perfect, would recommend for anybody. Our waitress for the party was super nice and we generally have no complaints of the staff.”

“I thought it was very good food for the price. Everything was hot and ready on the buffet. The dining room was spacious and the music was low. No complaints, except about the wait staff. Don't expect much other than being led to your table. Sept 2023”

“I went here on accident, I had done a mobile order but arrived at the wrong location. When me and the cashier and manager figured that out, I believe it was the manager but whoever it was corrected the error I made and had the order canceled at the wrong restaurant and they immediately made my order. This woman was so professional and kind. We talked for a moment while I was waiting for my food. She is great for your customer service and handles everything effortlessly.
All of our food orders were correct and delicious.
That awesome lady really took the spotlight for our visit and I am glad to have stopped here. Thank you for having us!”

“Clean and friendly service. This location has come along way since opening. They had a rough start but they finally got there and the customer service really is great. With businesses being short staffed, Starbucks included I have to say they really are doing their very best.”

“We did an online order that my wife picked up on her way home. They mixed up our breads to sandwiches. Wife got home 15 minutes from store. I called about the mix up and Michael got us refunded and apologized. Like he had a thought their was a mix up. It would have been a huge issue but me and my wife have food allergies thar cross each other. I couldn't eat the really big mistake because I don't eat mayo or ranch and my wife cannot eat oregano. Very stratified with the fixing.”

“Sam's Pizza for the win. I walked in for my pick up today and was treated like family. I had not been there for a while and was greeted by name and handed my pizza before I could even get my wallet. They were also very busy but not busy enough to treat everyone there the same as they treated me. Of course the pizza and garlic bread were amazing. This place is a Wausau landmark for a reason. “We had read that this place could be busy, so we chose to go a bit later in the evening and were seated immediately. The waiter wasn't super outgoing, but he was polite and actually became quite talkative when we took the initiative. They had excellent vegetarian meals with some real effort from the chef. Indoor vibe was fun with bikes hanging from the ceiling. The patio also looked nice with flowers and hanging lights.”
