Lovely dinner and service from Chris on Thursday night before the start of the season, Memorial Day wknd. All our drinks and meals were cooked to perfection. Best restaurant north of Hwy 8!
My husband and I went there for our anniversary the other night and everything was amazing. Our steaks came out sizzling, everything was cooked how we ordered, atmosphere was good. We got there a half hour before they opened and there were 8 people in front of us. Definitely worth the wait! Can’t wait to go back with family!
Just the best. A must stop whenever we are in the area

McGregor's Blink Bonnie Supper Club is a timeless dining institution that transports customers back in time with its nostalgic ambiance and traditional supper club vibe. From the moment guests step inside, they are enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere reminiscent of simpler times. The restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and expert preparation shines through in its menu, featuring highlights such as succulent walleye, perfectly cooked filet mignon, and decadent lobster. The 10 oz filet and lobster tail combination remains a favorite, paired with hashbrowns and "House" creamy garlic dressing on the salad. Sizzling steaks are a revelation, cooked to perfection and served with a side of nostalgia.
Guests can expect to wait, as the kitchen's capacity is limited, but the experience is worth it. The drinks are well poured, and the staff is friendly, contributing to an enjoyable dining atmosphere. The bread served is hot and crispy, and while salads are a nice starter, they are mainly iceberg lettuce dressed with bacon bits, croutons, and crunchy pretzel bits. For mains, the 7 oz filet mignon is tender, though those seeking Chicago-style seasoning may look elsewhere. The ribeye may not be a repeat choice due to its cut and seasoning. Many guests have enjoyed the broiled shrimp, which are well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Steak fries and baked potatoes are standard, but hashbrowns seem to be the popular choice among diners.
With its signature brandy old fashioneds, Blink Bonnie Supper Club is a culinary gem that delivers a memorable dining experience, making it a recommended stop for families looking to enjoy a large, holiday-like meal together.
