“We chose Hubbard Park Lodge for our wedding ceremony and reception because of its cozy “Wisconsin supper club” atmosphere! It is naturally beautiful and the staff are always friendly. We had the pleasure of working with Chris for our wedding planning process and he made it a breeze! He was extremely helpful, communicative, and quick to reassure us with any questions or concerns. “A favorite spot in Shorewood. Their drinks are great and the food is delicious. (Their Reuben sandwich that only comes around once a year is the best I’ve ever had. Wish they’d do that more often!). It can get crowded pretty quick, so I’d get there early if you’re able.”

“Once we got engaged, we started looking at tons of venues and The Atrium was intriguing and we went to view it. When we were there on our initial tour it was everything we ever wanted including the upstairs bar, outdoor space and the beautiful main level. Working with The Atrium leading up to the wedding was a great experience, we were assigned Lori for our day of coordinator. We met Lori prior to the wedding day, and instantly had a connection. I knew Lori was going to be a great asset for our wedding day, she is full of knowledge and worked on the catering side in her past so every ounce of knowledge helped us. Come wedding day, she was by my side, making sure everything was perfect, including my bustle! I couldn’t have imagined having a better person by my side, bending over backward for me and our guests. Lori is a great asset to The Atrium’s team!”

“This place always has some great options on tap and they have a few cans as well. I had some great IPAs, and a few Belgian style ales, all excellent. The beer prices were a bit steep for a 4 oz pour, but they are unique and well selected. There were nice spots outdoors in the sun as well as inside. I played a quick game of pacman on a mini video game sitting on a shelf with other games (card, video, dice, etc.).”

“We are locals and regular patrons of NaNa. In several vacations out of town we have ordered from sushi places, assuming we would get something of similar or a superior quality than what we were used to. We have been disappointed time and time again in other restaurants. It turns out no one can live up to the quality and tastiness of our hometown favorite, Nana in Shorewood. I think we will stop trying when we are on vacation and just be happy when we get home to Milwaukee to be able to have Nana sushi again. It is excellent quality, delicious, and reasonably priced. We have ordered both sushi rolls and dinners such as sesame chicken countless times. If it was socially/financially appropriate to eat there every night we probably would. Thank you Nana, we didn’t realize how lucky we were to have the best sushi restaurant around just down the street from us!”

“my family of 6 stopped in there. and being a huge soccer fan because i played all my life and coached until an illness took it all away seeing soccer on the tvs was awesome. the knowledge of the game by the staff was great. food was so delicious. Cameron was our waiter and Brad was our cook. great duo to have preparing your food and serving. they went out of our way to make our stay amazing.”

“Been going here for over 20 years. Can't write a bad thing about them. Weather I walk in to take out or get delivery. Every time the food is great. I love the orange chicken and steamed dumplings. As a kid I used to walk down the road just to get the crab Rangoon as a snack. Lately I've been getting the pork egg foo young! So good!! Hope this place lasts another 20 years. Family tradition to order from here every Christmas.”

“So first off I already LOVED CBC . From the drinks, muffins, cakes, etc. The customer service is always on point, and the place is always clean.

Today I came in to have my daughter fill out an application for our favorite neighborhood coffee/food/ and good service shop. After filling out the application we had the wonderful opportunity to speak with Estephanie today.

CBC knows what they’re doing when they hire. Estephanie is the perfect person for management. During the conversation she was transparent about the position, the expectations, the moral, the goal, and the obstacles that may come. The conversation alone is one that I believe most kids coming into the workforce with no experience needs to hear. My daughter walked out of the business with a better understanding of what to expect from any job and how she needs hard work, understanding, good communication, and confidence to succeed .

“One always feels comfortable and relaxed when they are at City Market in the cafe. The taste of the bakery goods is far, far superior to other bakeries that I know of in Milwaukee.... especially the French Bread Boules and the Peanut butter cookies. The service is superb. I also have so much respect for the way this cafe managed to stay open and afloat during the COVID epidemic. I say, thank God for The City Market Cafe and Bakery!”
