Quite simply the finest iteration I have encountered anywhere: deeply caramelized onions, a broth with true backbone, and a cheese crown that achieves the rare alchemy of richness without heaviness. The wine list shows a commendable sensibility, particularly in its by-the-glass program, which favors quality over breadth. Pairings were easy, and our requests for slight menu modifications were met with seamless accommodation.
