“We LOVED this place while visiting Lake Geneva! Our kids loved it too and begged to go a second time before we left, so we did! Pizza is fantastic. Our kids also loved the Jumbo pretzel. The buffalo chicken salad and the seared tuna salad were the best salads we’ve ever had! Service was excellent both times. On top of your server, there is also someone who is consistently walking around checking tables if they would like refills which we thought was great! Next Door Pub was by far our favorite restaurant in Lake Geneva!“

“We love Ace’s!! Jess and Nina are so awesome! You know you’re “home” when you walk in and they already know your drink and food orders by heart. They always go above and beyond for all their customers when we are there. Both very genuine and authentic. Food is always amazing and you can’t beat their specials! Another reason we keep coming back! Food, service, clean, great ambiance and always friendly patrons which ends up being great group conversations with the employees. “so ordered combination teriyaki and garlic parmesan wings and an order of macaroni and cheese, the teriyaki wings were fairly saucy and reasonably tasty move on to the garlic parmesan wings which had zero sauce however they did have Parmesan on them. according to the manager they didn't have any sauce on it so they parmesan them up. now let's move on to the macaroni and cheese I've had macaroni and cheese out of the box from Aldi that had thicker cheese sauce. so I questioned the manager about this his exacting answer to me was we buy our ingredients for that at Walmart. so you buy your ingredients from Walmart when you're a restaurant so that's not actually acceptable and the lake county health department standards for a restaurant. you could literally pour the cheese sauce out of the cup so I question the manager on both of these and he's the one that told me this and didn't seem to give any care about our dinner... so I'm just leaving this up for everybody else they don't seem to care. didn't offer to make anything right and well they will never get our money again. if you want some macaroni and cheese Heck just go to Walmart and buy some you might get the better quality than they make.“

“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

“My good friend Maureen threw a party here for her granddaughter’s 9th birthday a few weeks ago and the owner/manager Selena went above and beyond to make her day special! She set up tables and extra crowns. There was Halloween coloring sheets for the kids and she made ordering meals and getting drinks for a party of 13 easy!“

I had to call out hello to get someone to come to the counter so I could get my sauces. The girl with pink hair working the counter was asking a co-worker if he liked working there complaining to the co-worker she didn't like working. And it showed her adatude and demeanor showed.“

Then she treated me with a helpful attitude and a heartfelt smile. Because the customer is always right- I am requesting that she have some sort of compensation for her hard work. “We just stayed here at the Timber Ridge for the 2nd time. Family of 4. We went to the Moose and Maple for the 1st time. We went after we were done at the waterpark and arrived at the restaurant about 8:45. Service was excellent. We did not feel rushed even though they closed at 9:30. Restaurant was clean. Food was really good! We didn't get the opportunity to try breakfast but will try that next time hopefully. We had wings, Cheese~BLT, Salad, Loaded Baked Potatoe, kids chicken strips and kids mac and cheese.“

“I love the burgers here! It is pricey but the portions are great however the gourmet salad is only lettuce with sliced onion?
The carrots & red cabbage were not in it barely at all. One tiny piece of red cabbage!! Need much better salad as you pay for it.
No cucumbers in it or croutons come with it I am told. Okay,
But You are out of tomatoes?
My fault knowing that but I would have a way better salad with some variety in it!
But otherwise I do love the food and very nice, friendly staff.“
