“We stopped and had A Fabulous meal!! Our first time. Gyros and Italian beef. Everything was hot and fresh. Delicious!! Service great!! Hard working and polite- it was a real treat. The young lady who took our order was cleaning tables when there was no one at the counter. All these are important to us- especially Being a previous restaurant owners. “The worst Mc Donald’s I’ve ever been too Maggie the girl taking our order accused me and my husband of smelling like marijuana My husband and I are In Our seventies How dare they accuse a customer like that. I called and talked to the manager Who said her name was Theresa. She actually agreed with Maggie who was calling us names under her breath Thank god I recorded the conversation I am definitely going to file a complaint of defamation of character. Plus I am calling the corporate office“

“Wasn't to excited about going there with friends, that was a mistake. We are there now at least once a week. Where can you get 2 delicious pizza's and 4 beers for under $30 on 1/2 price Thursday. Wait staff are always friendly and accommodating. I always highly recommend this place to family and friends. The Friday fish fry is always good also.“

“We played a show at the theater next to this place. Had dinner here. WOW!!!! The service was very good and friendly. But the food!! I had a huge burger with bacon, egg, and hashbrowns. It was huge and incredible. Wife had a chicken wrap, she said was incredible as well. The incredible food combined with the small town friendly atmosphere makes this place well worth the stop. I love how they "branded" the bun.“

“Glad I found this spot. Really good burger, probably can’t beat it for the price in the area. Fresh cut fries. Really good cheese fries. Found out the cheese sauce is made in house. Burger and large cheese fry for $15. Worth every penny. I’ll be back with more people especially after a round across the road. Merktz cheddar fries.“

“Love me some Sandlots! I come for the Gumbo, honestly, but I've had a few other things on their menu, and have not been disappointed. I love that they offer a 'Southern' menu, and the corn beef dinner for St Patty's Day is the best in the area, hands down. I have very few critiques about Sandlots (I wish their tartar sauce for the fish fry wasn't sweet)- I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a low key bar/restaurant in the area that serves great food!“

“First time here. Not much to look at on the outside, but nice casual atmosphere and good food inside, plus a great view of the lake.Shared corned beef egg rolls and pretzel bites. Our main courses were blt wrap, Reuben, and cheeseburger. All really good. See pictures. Finally, servers were very friendly. Will go back again.“

However, it could use a bit more lights to mark the entrance driveway.Once we entered, we were curious with how the food would be. Other reviews appear to wonder about this as well. The interior atmosphere is filled with antiques and charm. The video slot machines is what I believe give reason for pause. The very reasonable prices might even make folks wonder as well! :-)When the food arrived, we didn't have to wonder anymore. “First time at Vickie's yesterday! Food was great , the docks are decent and has a beautiful view. Really great spot for delicious burgers, salads, and sandwiches. Didn't get a chance to try the pizza, but really the whole menu looks amazing. Friendly service, fun cocktails, and a scenic waterfront setting make this a great spot for casual dining. The servers were polite and great by treating customers so well. They gave everything from bringing extra napkins to refilling our drinks without having to ask. Definitely will be coming back again !“

“Our family of 4 , 2 adults and 2 young children went for lunch, and we all loved it !!! The service was fantastic, and our server was excellent ! The food was fresh , very tasty and presented very well. I think we were all actually suprised just how much we liked it , it was that good!!!. The salad was one of the best I've ever had , and they offer small and large options for them which is great. The soup was so flavorful and filled with chicken. My husbands wrap was delicious, and the fries were very good as well. We decided to try there banana bread pudding to go and we enjoyed it very much even after warming it up later!! It was a great experience that left us talking about what we will order next time. This is a great spot and we hope it's here to stay !!Kid-friendliness: They offer free kids meals on Tuesdays with the purchase of an adult meal ! “Dairy Queen is one of my all-time favorites and my life. I always go there and get the banana split. It is one of my favorite things in the world and oh boy, does dairy Queen make it so enticing that I just keep coming back for more and more. I probably have had seven banana splits and the last week.Parking: It's somewhat difficult to park in there because you're trying to right off of main road. And usually it's all backed up and you'll be sitting in the main road waiting to get in there. But I got to say it's worth the wait. They do have plenty of parking though if you would like to park. There's two different entrances but that's most definitely accessible. Just sometimes hard to find a spot to parkKid-friendliness: It's very cuz of friendly all the food there is fresh made for you. My daughter loves dairy Queen. I share my banana split with her sometimes. And oh boy it's like I can't even eat it for myself but it's okay, sharing is caring.“

“They have a great outdoor patio that often has live music. They have a menu you can order from and also grilled corn and burgers that they make outside. The owner comes by to say hello and you really feel welcome. Off to the slide they have playground equipment, basketball, and volleyball.“

“Not sure i will go back. First time I had the beef. Juice tasted watered down. 2nd time had the double cheeseburger meal. Almost 16.00 and the sandwich had no flavor to itRound 2 my friend really wanted to go here. I was skeptical. Stpped in for a late lunch and I got a juicy beef with sweet peppers and mozzarella. My friend s combo beef and sausage with hot peppers. Today they where both spot on! Resturant was clean and the service was very good.I will go back“

“We had our Christmas party at Mary’s Hideway. We were a party of 11. Mary and Carla were very attentive making sure we were taken care of. Service and food was great! Variety of food and drinks and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!“

“I was here with my daughter for dinner one night. My chicken sandwich was rubbery. It didn’t have a good texture to it at all. I’m not sure why, but it’s never happened before here. The rest of the meals were great. We are always greeted with a smile and with friendliness. An older gentleman brought our food out to our car. He was very sweet. I didn’t catch his name tag, but we liked him a lot.“

“I will never forget the day the beautiful establishment opened for the first time. It was the first time I shed tears since my meema passed a couple of years ago. She used to take me to culvers and we used to lady and the tramp the fries, it was beautiful lovely memory I have. “The service was slow but not due to the workers. More due to management not properly staffing the establishment. The bartender/waitress deserved some large tips for handling the plus 30 people in there today. I just went in to pick up three pizzas and had to patiently wait to be served. But she had an almost full bar and another 15 people at tables. Food was good but it seems management is lacking.“

“My good friend Maureen threw a party here for her granddaughter’s 9th birthday a few weeks ago and the owner/manager Selena went above and beyond to make her day special! She set up tables and extra crowns. There was Halloween coloring sheets for the kids and she made ordering meals and getting drinks for a party of 13 easy!“
