“They are not lying, THE best pie in town, probably the best pie in WI and MN. The type of pie that you actually want to eat the crust. Kind of pricey but they serve generous slices. I wish it was closer to home! We will definitely stop back if we are in the area again!”

“If you love homemade pie this place is worth the trip, most definitely. It was about two hours roundtrip for me, but it's a cute place and the food is also really good. But the pie. You need to order ahead if you want an entire pie or a specific pie, but you can get slices and they have "pie cookies." If you love pie crust, you gotta get a pie cookie. This is probably the only place I'd actually pay for an entire pie and be happy. Actually homemade and so delicious.”

“While visiting Lake City for a family reunion, I stopped by Heidi’s Huggamug Café for breakfast—and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the Rise & Shine and it was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh and flavorful. You can tell they put care into every part of the meal, from the perfectly cooked eggs to the crispy hashbrowns.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy small-town charm that made me feel right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a relaxed and inviting experience from start to finish.

This spot is a true gem, and I can see why it has such great ratings. If you’re in Lake City, make sure you don’t miss Heidi’s Huggamug Café. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!”

“It's my favorite place to grab a pancake! These pancakes are huge! Good menu selection and great prices. Relaxed atmosphere and unique history. The kids menu is great and you can customize your meal here much easier than at other restaurants.
