“Little Larke Bakery is my favorite small town bakery along the Mississippi river. I especially love the focaccia bread, kolaches, bacon cheddar scones, Swedish almond cake and cinnamon rolls. Everything is fresh and homemade!!!”

“What a wonderful place to escape from the city. Incredibly friendly people and a beautiful setting. They feature a lot of different apples varieties and at $10 per bag, quite an affordable place to get fresh apples off the trees. We brought our dogs and we all had a great day. If you're looking for a good place to go and enjoy the harvest season, I'd go here if I were you.”

“We went down for a lovely drive and pie. The restaurant was so crowded with people, we chose not to wait. That is how good the food and pies are. We will go back down again and I highly recommend it. Just watch out for road construction between Maiden Rock and Stockholm.

“If you love homemade pie this place is worth the trip, most definitely. It was about two hours roundtrip for me, but it's a cute place and the food is also really good. But the pie. You need to order ahead if you want an entire pie or a specific pie, but you can get slices and they have "pie cookies." If you love pie crust, you gotta get a pie cookie. This is probably the only place I'd actually pay for an entire pie and be happy. Actually homemade and so delicious.”

“While visiting Lake City for a family reunion, I stopped by Heidi’s Huggamug Café for breakfast—and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the Rise & Shine and it was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh and flavorful. You can tell they put care into every part of the meal, from the perfectly cooked eggs to the crispy hashbrowns.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy small-town charm that made me feel right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a relaxed and inviting experience from start to finish.

This spot is a true gem, and I can see why it has such great ratings. If you’re in Lake City, make sure you don’t miss Heidi’s Huggamug Café. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!”

“This was my husband and my first visit and the whole experience was amazing, from the second we stepped in the door to when we left with full and happy tummies, and a to-go bag with leftovers! The chicken with champagne grapes was amazing and my husband got the halibut! The staff was spot on AMAZING! We were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary and Harbor View Cafe made it boomdigity!”

“I’ve always loved the Pickle Factory. Last night I had the BEST quesadillas ever. It is so delicious! In addition, per usual they had a scrumptious martini that the bartender was so kind as to make into a smaller version for me . It was amazing! See a picture in the comment. “This is an adorable clean mom and pop place. I was not sure at first but then I loved it!!! This couple are long term residents of LC. She helped with ordering he cooked the food. Took 20 minutes as everything was cooked to order. Food was great very fresh vegetables and tasty bbq pork!! Will be back for sure!!”
