Surprisingly EXCELLENT food in an unexpected place. Small town restaurant that claims to serve Kansas City style barbecue. We drive to Kansas City for barbecue so my attitude was, yeah, sure, KC barbecue in small town Wisconsin? Well, don't judge a book by its cover! My husband had a rib and pulled pork platter. Everything including the potatoes flavored with olive oil and rosemary were worth driving from Chicago to experience.
We ate here for the first time last night before a show at the Opera House, and it was fantastic! I had the lobster ravioli and my husband had the ribs and pulled pork, both were excellent! I'm glad I read some reviews about making a reservation in advance, especially on a show night. Great advice because they fill up quickly with reservations and have to turn walk-ins away. We'll be back for sure! Thank you!

The barbecue ribs were spectacular, perfectly tender and expertly charred. The ravioli florentine did not disappoint either and the homemade chips were perfectly seasoned. I can't wait until it's safe to dine in again so I can eat here in person.
