Found this place looking on Google Maps for somewhere to eat nearby the bookstore. It was a great choice. Decent selection for a vegetarian. Excellent cheese curds. Among the best on the Madison area. Fantastic beer. Lots of outdoor seating, though much not in any shade. Could use some quality control in the kitchen as the salad was a little mushy. Service was great. Would definitely come again.
Every time I come here, I make it a point to try something new, and there's always something worth ordering. The drinks have a little something for everyone, and the food menu covers a solid range of options. Fair warning though, it can get pretty loud inside between the music and the crowd, so maybe not the spot for a quiet night out. Updated review: Beer is still delicious. The food is still excellent and has become a staple in our house. My favorite is the pulled pork nachos. However we have been getting the poutine and adding pulled pork which takes it to another level.
