We were rolling in from a long day of driving. We expected the usual hotel food, but were unexpectedly surprised that Johnny’s was there. What a special place. The food was amazing, and the service was stellar! Our server/bartender, Alyssa, was fantastic! Would absolutely recommend eating here when in the area, even if you are not at the Hilton. Oh, and all the desserts are house made!
Atmosphere is good, although it wasn't busy when we were there. The important takeaways are, steak is best medium rare, which is how I order mine. I ordered the 6 oz filet, it was medium to medium well. My husband ordered New York strip and was dissatisfied, said it was gristly. Also, the sausage bread was very cold so we asked for it to be heated and what came back didn't even look like bread. Very burnt. Wish I could post a picture! My 2 cocktails were pretty good,...
Service and atmosphere was great for our large group. I had the filet tips stroganoff. The sauce and the pasta were very good, the filet tips were a little tough and some were grissly.
