“Hixton is a small town in Wisconsin with a few antique stores a diner and a couple of bars. I recommend you stop at Kal's Corner for a cold beverage and excellent bar burger. The menu is limited to burgers, several chicken selections, fries and deep fried appetizers/sides. Skip the cheese curds, they are average at best. The bacon cheeseburger (you don't get a cheese choice) with American cheese served on a soft white bun is very good and served with excellent bread and butter pickles. This is my go to order. You can add onion or lettuce for a small charge. Condiments on the table include ketchup, mustard, bbq sauce and ranch dressing. Service is efficient and the bathrooms are clean. This is a popular stop for bikers on charity rides and to and from Sturgis.“
