5 Best Burger Restaurants near Onalaska

“Today my son was at the Culver’s in Onalaska, WI by the high school for lunch. He had no money and had called to try to get money sent to his phone so he could eat with his friends. I called the store to see if I could pay for his food over the phone. The lady who answered explained that she couldn’t take payment over the phone but she would pay for his meal. I said I would pay her back and she said don’t worry about it. She met him by the ice cream cooler and paid for his meal. She was so kind and didn’t even think twice. For someone who probably had a lot more to worry about - like the 60+ kids in her lobby waiting for food, she stopped and used her own money to help my son out. Incredible! I didn’t quite catch her name so will be going in on Friday to see if I can find her to thank her! Incredible person!“

“I work at McDonalds, and I can say this right now about our establishment: McDonald's secret weapon is salt. They salt the grill to give the burgers a rich, salty feel. I feel like, if Five Guys did that, they would be head and shoulders above places like McDonalds. Despite that, the burger was still delicious, and the fries, while not as crispy as I'd like, had a good pillowy, potato-y flavor to them that I quite enjoyed.“

“This was the best McDonald's I ever been to hands down. The moment you walk through the door you are greeted and welcomed with a smile. Everyone was so nice and friendly always appreciated. I travel a lot and I wish every place I go to is represented this way. The place was very clean and appealing. Got my food in a fast and convenient amount of time. All my food was fresh and hot. And my fries didn't have a lot of salt on it like most McDonald's. I definitely give this place two thumbs up. Keep up the great work you guys!!!!“
