Thorpedo Restaurant is a welcoming place with friendly and efficient staff serving delicious food. It has a nice hometown mom n' pop atmosphere that makes it a great stop for breakfast or lunch. The broccoli cheese soup is a must-try, and the homemade pies are excellent. The mushroom Swiss burger and breakfast skillet have received high praise, along with the hashbrowns and kids’ menu. The service is attentive, ensuring quick delivery of meals even during busy times, as shown by the full restaurant of mostly locals. Although the prime rib is not on the menu, it is prepared perfectly and tastes wonderful. The restaurant offers good-sized portions at fair prices, making it a favorite for many. There is plenty of parking, including space for trucks and trailers, and high chairs are available for children. Despite being close to closing time, the staff remains kind and efficient, providing a warm atmosphere for guests. This family restaurant is known for its quality food, friendly service, and cozy environment, and it has been an iconic landmark for over 60 years, making it a must-visit for anyone in the area.
