Based on the reviews, Castaways | Bar & Grill is a wonderful place to eat with a large bar area and dining area that overlooks a river or lake. The food is delicious, with good American food options. Sandwiches were large, and the Rubens are made fresh with meat cooked fresh every day. The fish fry was the best fish, with moist and flavorful fish. The baked white fish with drawn butter and the breaded version were terrific. The waitresses were awesome, friendly, and attentive. There is a good selection of beer and some special old-fashioned drinks. The interior is really charming, and there is a spectacular sunset. This restaurant is themed after the movie Castaway with Tom Hanks. It is a fun place to go for a bite or a beer and is well worth the drive.
