“This bar is a definite stop just for the decor which is all navy and mostly submarines! I loved it I spend a lot of time there just taking pictures and looking at the memorabilia! I did not eat here but the food looked okay to me from what I seen everyone seemed happy about the food!“
“Kind of stumbled across this place as it's relatively close to our hotel.....and glad we did.I went outside my norm and got the special of the all you can eat soup and salad, as it appeared to be popular with many patrons.The chicken noodle soup was good, but the beef barley was hearty, full of flavor, and freaking awesome. Salad was good too (if there's such a thing as good salad)....but was full of fresh veggies, ham, cheese and had thick chunky blue cheese dressing.Another in our party got a huge sandwich (called the Wisco) with pretzel bread...he said it was great....and was the best German potato salad he's ever had (his wife is German). He said it had a unique sweetness to it.Our server was on it! She was busy but still polite and super attentive.I would consider the atmosphere definitely reminiscent of Germany, as everyone in our party has lived in Germany at some point in our lives, but not alot of German items on menu.My only complaint is I won't be able to enjoy this place once I head back home.“
“On vacation and found this spot. Excellent food and excellent service. Large group came in right before us and owner told our server to come to us to get our order in first so we wouldn’t have a long wait. After we finished eating owner came and introduced himself.“
“Great place! Phil and Michelle are a treat .. great people! Can't wait till they get the kitchen up and going. Very nice whiskey selection and, as they are a fan of New Orleans, even have a few nice Abita beers to choose from. Gotta love any place that has a public piano.“
“Stopped in while on my motorcycle Sunday afternoon . It is a nice place out in the country. Met Andy and Cherish the bartenders. The place was pretty cool. Had volleyball out back with a beer garden. The place was clean and had a little kitchen area that you could see from the bar and it looked very organized and clean. I did not have any food but I wouldn't hesitate to order. The bartenders made me feel welcome so I will definitely be back.“
“I had heard good things several times before. Some friends and I decided to give it a try as they are branching out to Manitowoc soon. The grizzly cheese steak paired with the onion straws and house made ranch was my selection and I was not disappointed!“
