“Stopped here on a Saturday night on our way through to Illinois. It was very busy. They had St Patrick’s Day specials as well as their normal menu and regular Saturday specials. Everyone was nice and things appeared to run smoothly in a crazy busy atmosphere. Food came out promptly and was very good! If we ever find our way down here again I’d stop back and recommend to others as well. I don’t usually do reviews but was impressed enough that I felt I should. Thanks again!“

“I want this place to succeed. My husband and I, who are not at all motorcycle people, stumbled in here for the first time on a Sunday day. Dressed in carhart and flannels we were way out of place. But that didn't stop anyone there-staff and patron, from welcoming us in in conversation, going outside to watch the bikes spin and smoke tires, and just have a great day. Because of this we have gone back a few times and each time it looks closer and closer to meeting its end, as the traffic to them is halted due to construction. It maKES ME SO SAD. PLEASE GO THERE AND PATRON THEM. Road construction is not their fault. It is like and hour from our house to that bar, other wise we would do it ourselves daily. If you go there and they are short on stock, don't be a dick and pick something else. If you are from Wisconsin you have at least seven back up drinks....“

“Highly recommend you have a staff member walk through your room with you before you check out to validate the condition you are leaving it in. Not sure what’s going on there but we were wrongly accused of conditions we did not leave. Cost us $75 as a result of their error as to which room it came from. They also would not answer direct questions that might have exonerated us.“

“We stopped for dinner tonight. Patio is awesome. Our server, Karen was attentive, funny, and fast. We had the Wednesday special, 2 tacos. I make better tacos at home. They didn't come with rice and beans (which most places include) No chips and salsa included, we had to pay extra for that. They had no wings as there is a shortage and the tater tot nachos were cold and bland. We might go back when we want to drink on the patio, but not sure about coming back for the food.“

“If you’re passing through the Kenosha area jump off I-94 at Highway 50 and visit Uncle Mike’s. The 1.5 pound hit pretzel is awesome -but very filling. 86 beers on tap! Really great vibe. Uncle Mike’s is my new stopping place when passing through.“

“It is New Year's Eve 2024. We just got home from Michael's On the Lake and my husband ordered the special 44oz Porterhouse and it was divine! This steak was at least 3 inches thick.....but maybe more, so flavorful and melted in our mouths. (He shared a piece with me.) He ordered it rare snd it came out perfectly. All the food was fresh. The music and atmosphere were classy and subdued. The wait staff is well trained and friendly. The old fashioneds were great too. Michaels on the Lake is a jewel of a restaurant. This family owned and run place is worth the drive!“

“The food was amazing! I had a chicken fajita bowl - the seasonings were slightly different than what I was used to and it was outstanding!!!! Strawberry daquiri - YUM! My daughter is gf intolerant and was able to eat the nachos without any issue and loved them!! Ambience is inviting with tiki grass effects and strategic overhead lighting.“

“I'm very torn writing this review. I want to give 5 stars and 1 star all at the same time. I've had multiple pleasant experiences here and the food is AMAZING! My issue was on St. Patty's Day....I arrived at the bar and order Reuben Rolls and a green beer (St. Patty's Day of course!) The people who sat down after me received their food before I did. I then asked the bartender again for the rolls and some dessert (to go this time) and was presented with my food, I paid my bill and left. It was a very upsetting experience for me and I don't think I'll be returning here anytime soon. ☹️ Thank you to everyone at Rte 20 who was so kind to me and I loved the conversations that I had with both the staff and the other patrons. They have tons of TVs in the bar so you can pretty much watch whatever you want while you are eating. They also have specialty drink and shot menus that will blow your mind. They should be having some big bands over the summer so I would recommend checking them out if you've never been!😀😀“
