I recently visited the Jackson Harbor Soup restaurant at 1904 Indian Point Rd, on Washington, WI. I was recommended this place and when you get there so has many others. It's a great place and I ordered the Infidel Sandwich which is a delicious ham and cheese "jacked up". So delicious. I also ordered a cup of soup. I'm really glad we had lunch here. The location and views were awesome. The staff friendly. Unfortunately mysandwich was not that great. 1st, I wasn't expecting "wonder" bread, and the roast beef was so cold, it didn't have flavor. And you couldn't taste the horseradish sauce. I bet if this sandwich had been pressed in their pannini makers, it would have been great. The potato soup was a bit disappointing as it had no taste. Salt and pepper helped....
Cute spot on the water for lunch. We had BLTs and our for dessert. The bacon was perfectly crispy and tomatoes were very fresh/ripe. Cherry pie was a good balance of sweet/tart. A great spot after hiking Rock Island!
