“My wife and I were visiting some family, and they decided to eat dinner here. The drinks were nice and strong, do yourself a favor and try and old fashioned. The food came out rather quick and was adequate. There were a few mistakes but that waitstaff was prompt in rectifying the situation.“

When we moved here from just outside Denver I kept driving by for TWO years and seeing the laundromat and coffee shop and I judged the coffee shop by the laundromat due to my previous city experiences without even going inside. This is not "those" places. This place is amazing! I was humbled by my own pre-set judgements. It is beautiful and cozy. The owners are wonderful. I have tried many things on the menu and have never had anything that didn't taste fantastic! I also like the outdoor seating by the trees and field out back. Very peaceful. It was my loss that I took two years before I stepped inside. If that's you. Just go in and check it out and you'll not regret it. We have been faithfully spending a decent amount of our coffee and dining out budget at Connection Cafe for 3 years:) Love it!

It turns out, Grand Central Bistro is part of a really large senior living complex with homes and assisted living. The Bistro serves the needs of those residing in the complex as well as the public. Besides for their usual menu, they also have daily specials. The day we were there the specials were wild rice soup and walking tacos. Orders are taken at the counter and food is brought to the table. I found all 3 staff members to be friendly and helpful. A wide variety of Berres coffees (roasted in Watertown) are at a serve-yourself counter. The building is rather new and provides a pleasant environment. In summer, people can also eat outside.“
