“I had lunch here with a group of friends yesterday. We had a variety of soups, wraps, sandwiches, beer and wine. Everything was delicious. Even better than the food, was the great service. All staff we interacted with were friendly and attentive. Corynn, our main server, deserves a shout out for providing excellent service. Thanks to Revere’s for a great meal experience!“
“First time trying the fish fry and we were very surprised. It's iconic vintage atmosphere all the way, like stepping into the 1960's. All the regulars, everyone says hi, it's charming. We got the two piece and three piece fried cod, carried it out, $30. The servings were large, perfectly cooked with a very light, flaky, crispy coating, with fries, rye bread, creamy coleslaw, and tartar sauce. Will definitely go again. We try to stop and support as many American Legions as we can as we travel. We're members of American Legion Paradise Post 79, New Port Richey, FL.“
“Amazing tasting and beautifully plated! Only thing suck was served medium and I prefer medium rare. Our server Megume was knowledgeable and thoughtful. Put in dessert order early so we could make our show. I definitely recommend. Japanese milk bread and jerk chicken to die for!“
“We are never disappointed! From entering, would definitely recommend a reservation!, the service and the food...delicious beyond what you will get anywhere! So impressed. The choices vary vastly so read the menu's carefully as we all have preferences. The attention to detail at Belfre; so solid! Enjoy.“
“I stop in after work for half price apps and happy hours drinks. All of them are delicious at a great price. But what really brings me back is your bartender Robin. She ALWAYS goes above and beyond with her excellent service. She knows what I need before I can even ask. Robin is a “
“I absolutely love Waterstreet for two reasons. First, it has become a weekly 'stop' for myself and a number of our managers to have a quick unwind session. Second, the consistently awesome service allows me to bring clients in groups of any size and know they will be treated perfectly!A couple of recommendations . . try the Taco's and mix and match the types, they are awesome. Second, if you are beyond hungry, try the Wisconsin Hot Chicken Sandwich . . but plan on a carry out bag!Overall, I cannot recommend this establishment more, the food, staff, and atmosphere make it a must stop.“
“We were ar Ella's 2 weeks ago and had a table for 8. We had little kids to seniors. Fish fry was good, great chicken sandwich and drinks. Kids liked their choices. Love their salads great dressing. Server Ayden was prompt and he checked back several times. Will go back soon!“
“Loved it. I would give it more stars if I could. We were there at around 6:30 pm on a Saturday night. Our wait time for a 6 top was about 30 minutes. The bartender was friendly, fast, and attentive even with it being busy. The service was outstanding. She was fun, knowledgeable, and efficient. Recommend certain dishes over others, and she was not wrong. A++“
“My husband and I visited last night for one of our first date nights out and it was such a lovely experience. We arrived ahead of our reservation so we grabbed a seat at the bar and had some cocktails. I tried the Love Potion cocktail first and it was very refreshing. Then I switched to a dirty martini and it was served in an aluminum glass - a very nice touch. My husband tried a couple bourbons and was very impressed with the spirits selection overall. The bartenders were very hospitable and seemed very knowledgeable as well. Once we sat for dinner we started out with the Lobster Rolls appetizer and the Mushroom Tart. WOW these were both SO good. The Lobster Rolls were the perfect lobster mix to bread ratio and packed so much flavor. The Mushroom Tart was also extremely flavorful. We loved both appetizers. Then we split a main entree, the Braised Short Ribs with an extra veggie on the side - broccolini. This was incredibly rich without being too much or too salty which can happen with this type of dish. We were too stuffed for dessert, but the options sounded amazing and will definitely have to same room so we can try next time. We loved our time at the Union House and definitely recommend it as a great date night spot, celebrations or just a nice evening out! Thank you Union House!“
“This evening my boyfriend and I were meandering in downtown Oconomowoc and decided to stop in Wine Maniacs for dinner. Let me tell you it was the best decision we had made all day! Our server was James who was informative and friendly! He started us off with a few sweeter wines that we showed interest in. He hit the nail on the head, we loved the Moscato he recommended. We skipped appetizers and went right to the main course. My boyfriend had the lamb lollypop and I had the House Pasta which included my favorite food pesto! The entree was delicious, my boyfriend left nothing behind. James also brought wine for our dinner to pair with our food. It was so nice the tester wine we were offered before committing to a whole glass. I appreciate how informative and friendly James was! James told us a little bit about himself like how he worked in the corporate work place before working full time at this restaurant. He truly has a passion for wine and is doing a great job! James deserves a raise! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some delicious food and wine. I appreciated the informative servers and them being able to seat us right away without a reservation. 10/10“
“This is a small town bar and there is limited seating. To avoid a wait go at an "off" time and enjoy your food! We sat in the bar area at a table up against the wall and quickly had a server there to help us. She ran through the specials and we had our drinks in no time! She was fast and attentive! We ordered the cheese curd flight to start with. White cheddar, Dill, and cheddar curds fried to absolute perfection! Would I go back just to order this? YES! The curds rotate so make sure to ask what is on the flight on any given day. The hand breaded perch was very good! The breading was different then I had in the past and I enjoyed it. The Cajun baked cod was on the dry side sadly, but I couldn't even be mad. If you are going for a fish fry...get it fried. I made a rookie mistake and I am not a rookie LOL! None-the-less I still eat the entire piece of fish so it couldn't be all bad, right!? We will be going back to try additional menu options. Also make sure to keep an eye on he Facebook page where they post the weekly specials. It'll be hard not to go try one once you see the pictures.“
“Their sandwiches are absolutely phenomenal. Each one is packed generously and the flavor combinations are perfect. I've visited this restaurant close to 10 times over the past year, and each time the food tastes as good as the last. From my experience, they never serve a dud sandwich.“
“We had Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and Barbecue Chicken pizza and loved them both! The eating area is a basic multifunction room that they rearrange for baseball darts also. There is a big game room in back and also a bar area in front. Friendly people and Excellent service!“
“I can absolutely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Bar and Grill at Pabst Farm in Oconomowoc, WI! The food is awesome, and I would say that the burger is the best in town. The wings are fantastic, and on Mondays they are 40 cents a piece! The dry rubs and wet sauces are all specially prepared and are very good! The rest of the menu, along with the weekly specials, are all great value and prepared with fresh ingredients and care by the Garden Inn chefs, Tammy and Will.Service at the bar is great. Emily, Lisa, Heather and Dan are all accomplished bar tenders, very personable and provide great service. There is no better spot to land for a great meal and great service in Oconomowoc - please stop by and enjoy an evening at the Garden Inn Bar and Grill!“
“This is a nice local bar in Pewaukee. ***In all fairness, my food rating is based on a frozen pizza cooked after the grill was closed. It was available and ok. If it were about ten pm and I wanted a bar pizza, I would order this again. That being said, the server was attentive and very nice. I ordered a Bloody Mary hot. It was reasonably priced and came with a nice amount of fixings. I also received a decent amount for a beer chaser.I was meeting a friend briefly as she drove through town, so we didn't explore the many things available at the bar. They had pool tables and other machines there. ( I wasn't looking too closely, I'm sorry.)I will probably plan another late meeting with my friend as she finishes her classes at WCTC.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, they have a wheelchair ramp. I did not use the facilities.“
“My wife and I recently visited Oconomowoc, we found Maxim's restaurant which was the old train depot for the town, the service, and food was delicious and presented well, lots of healthy choices, Maxim's is our official daily eaterie!!! Prices were very fair!!“
“This place is an absolute gem! We have eaten here and gotten carryout many times and everything we've tried is amazing! Very reasonably priced and large portions! Tonight I was eating healthy and tried the delicious Chicken Bruschetta Salad with Herb Vinaigrette, one of the best salads I've ever had! Also highly recommend the Monte Cristo, Beef Stroganoff, and Cornerstone Burger!“
“I REALLY want to love this place, but the slow service is tough to overlook. Food is amazing. Beer selection is amazing. Atmosphere is amazing. but it always feels like there isn't enough staff. We wait and wait and wait for drinks and our bill; just really makes it hard to be the #1 go-to place. Fix that, and this place is perfection.“
“This place is always amazing, everything is delicious. Great service, even better food. Food comes out fast too. Their homemade desserts are ? we come here about once a weekPersonal faves:Greek bfast burritoEggs BenedictBlueberry lemon breadChicken Alfredo pasta on Thursdays ?Fish fry is bomb“
“This was the new restaurant of the week and a long time bookmark so I stopped over for lunch. I couldn't find it the first time because the spot was a three flag flying American Legion post so I used google maps to take me there and I ended up at the same intersection so I parked and I looked around and, dang it's in the A /L post right on the sign in front. The place is in the basement and it's classic WI dive bar at its finest with a small bar and some hi tables. It's bar service I was told so I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary spicy and the cheesesteak sandwich with upgraded onion rings for $2 extra. The Bloody Mary was super average with absolutely no depth of flavor at all that was garnished with a couple good firm olives, 2 meat slices and a cheddar cheese cube which was decent. The cheesesteak looked pretty good and smelled amazing with lettuce, tomato and mayo which is not the norm from most places and it was fu#king delicious that way, if I can remember I'm going to ask for future cheesesteaks from other place to add lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. The grilled peppers and onions with the thin sliced beef topped with melted cheese on the fresh hoagie bun was perfect for my cheesesteak craving. On the other hand the up charge onion rings were beer battered and thin, very average bar food and I thought that the seasoned potatoes/frys that came with the sandwich would have been a better option for this sandwich. Overall I had a good lunch at a reasonable price with a cocktail/chaser sandwich and side for $20.95 that completely satisfied me, the 1st timer on my receipt was noted for the kitchen ? like what is that and don't F this order up ? I don't know.“
“We stop here for dinner whenever we visit Pewaukee. (It's not a candy store, as the name implies.) Right across the street from the water, it is a convenient place to get a tasty sub, fresh salad, or mouth-watering ice cream. We’ve had the delicious roast beef, turkey, and ham and cheese subs made with their fresh, lightly-crusted, Italian sub rolls. The oregano gives them a unique, pleasant flavor. And of course we get their delicious ice cream that comes in many flavors, such as Moose Tracks or Strawberry Cheesecake. Parking is on the street or at their spacious lot in the back. We look forward to our next meal there!“
“My husband and I went for dinner this evening and we would HIGHLY recommend Artisan 179!! The live music, our waitress Kelly, the drinks & the food were all amazing. The best dining experience we’ve had in awhile. We will 100% be back!“
“This place is awesome! If you're in the mood for a burger and some curds this is the place on the lake. The Owner "Hollywood" is the first single female proprietor on the lake. And is absolutely hilarious, super fun environment.“
“Stopped for lunch this weekend with my father who's currently at Shorehaven for rehab. Quick, friendly service, good food and fair prices. Lady at the counter, Kelly, was super friendly and helpful. What a great part of the Shorehaven campus to have patients/residents/guests to have an option for a change of scenery and the opportunity to dine together.“
“This is a step up from your typical bar and grill. Menu has a bit of an old school supper club feel to it. Staff seem experienced and well-trained. Everyone was working hard. Cozy feel to the bar seating area, but the ambiance in the separate dining room is a bit lacking. Thankfully, it offers extra seating space on a busy weekend night. I'm somewhere between 3-4 stars. Overall, pretty decent casual dining.“
“Its so refreshing to go to a restaurant where you are not getting ripped off by high wine by the glass prices! You see so many places now that are charging over $10 a glass for wine. 5 O'clock Club offers nice wine at $7-$8 a glass. I drink at least 3 glasses at dinner and can't afford these places that charge $10-$11 a glass. 5 O'clock Club clearly is our top 3 best fish fries in Wisconsin. We don't like the thick beer batter fish fries. Their crusty, thin, tasty batter is the best. It comes out very hot! French fries are like Culvers, but much more flavor! Cole Slaw is always fresh and one of the tastiest. Sure, you have to wait on Friday night, just like 95% of all the other restaurants in Wisconsin on Friday night, but its worth the wait. We always have great service too. Most of the servers there on Friday night have been there for years. Keep up the good work there and thanks!“
“My partner and I went for fishy fry at Bryant's as part of our quest to try out different fish fry's in the area. We got fried cod with potato pancakes. The tartar sauce was very flavorful and complemented the fish well. Additionally, the potato pancakes and cole slaw were also very good. The cole slaw had pineapple incorporated in it, which really elevated the flavor and (as someone who doesn't normally get fish fry for the slaw) was a very welcome change from the regular fish fry ensemble. We will definitely be coming back. We did speak to the owner while he checked on our table, who said that the fish fry will be served all year round. We think that's a good thing as it is our new favorite fish fry!“
“This place wasn't bad. We had pizza and garlic bread. The bread to me kind of had a burnt taste and not garlicky. The pizza was good . Crist was thin and crispy. The sauce was very sweet. Something I'm not used to.All just ok for me.“
“First time customers, the wait staff was very attentive and very friendly, the food was average. Came for breakfast. It was very not busy and we were served in less then 10 mins of arriving. Very fast service, very friendly, reasonably priced.“
“This is a sports bar in small town North Prairie beer prices very reasonable . went there for a fish fry which was excellent and extremely reasonable prices. this has friendly efficient waitress service and it was filled with a lot of people having a good time.“
“My first encounter with Panga Bar was to attend the Panga Polar Plunge on January 1st, 2024, on the rocky shoreline of Upper Nemahbin Lake. Jumping in groups of ten at 12:30pm. The event was so much fun here at Panga. It's somewhat organized from inside the bar area. You could make a donation to American Heart Society, or not. I only had a Bloody Mary drink here after the plunge. Delish! I like spicy, and needed a little something to eat after the 36 degree temp water. In my opinion, the service was fantastic considering how many (100+) people were there to eat and drink. This place was packed inside and outside. I was able to maneuver my way to the bar (thanks to many nice patrons who let me through the crowd), and order some drinks. The bartender was super sweet, quick to get my order to me, and made sure I had all I needed. There were 4 bartenders that I saw behind the bar at this event, all busy busy bees. This bar is on the lake, down off the frontage road, with many local lake customers. Its rustic. Don't expect anything fancy here. The locals are happy, and they welcome visitors. I'm going to find a night to visit this bar again, check what else they have to offer patrons, and I'll talk to more bartenders. I'm so glad my friend introduced this area bar to me, I will surely be back to check out the food, more drinks, and friendly chatter !! Meet me there ?!“
“First time at the Hartbrook Cafe in a few years, after I left I told myself I won't wait as long between visits! The portions are generous and the staff was very friendly - I ordered a thick piece of French Toast and a side of sausage links, it was fantastic :)“
“Very busy when I got in for lunch. They were able to make the food fresh and fast and I received the best customer service. Not to mention the place was clean for how busy it was. Not to mention the burger was the best bacon burger Ive ever had. I would recommend this place over and over!“
“Food is amazing. Had the salmon chowder that was so delicious I wanted to hump it. Foodgasm. Wine list is fantastic. Staff is wonderful and attentive. Everything on the menu is so great- you can't make a bad choice. The chicken and waffles for brunch is a must try. Pearl sugar in the waffles makes this unlike any basic B waffles you've ever had in your life. The Sobies burger-- best cheeseburger I've ever had. If you are in oconomowoc- this is the place to eat.“
“Delicious fish fry! I particularly loved the German potato salad. The portions were very hearty and I had absolutely no complaints. I got the perch and I only had room for one. I definitely recommend Ron's if you want a great fish fry! ?“
“Gem in Lake Country. This is a review of the casual menu. Tuesday-Thursday they have a Happy Hour special from 4:30-6:00, half off all drinks, including the big steins of beer. Live music in the lounge Dec-Mar and then the patio starting in May. We enjoyed a very tasty and juicy orange roughy sandwich and a chicken pesto wrap. Both were delicious and more than we could eat.“
“Rachel was our waitress and she was awesome! Me and 12 others are part of the 12 beers of Christmas. Every new Barrell that is tapped I get a text and we meet, drink beer, eat and socialize. Fun stuff! I ate the endters supreme pizza and it was awesome!“
“Food was great, our waitress was absolutely fun and fantastic, the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. I usually am petty wary of places with a huge varied menu, but Amalia's surprised me with the delicious meal. It's a bit far otherwise I would be back more often. And just remember, if you have any questions or doubt, Maya knows best!“
“The bakery is incredible (especially the cinnamon rolls) and their unique coffees are excellent with new flavors weekly to try. They have been afflicted by staffing issues as many small businesses have which has affected service a couple times, but the product and owner have sunk their heart into the product and it shows. It’s awesome.“
“This was a really great dining experience. The service was outstanding, good atmosphere, great drinks, and the food was very good with generous portion sizes. The reason for 4 stars was that the desert was a miss for me. I would absolutely eat here again.“
“We had fun stopping in for a fish fry. The vibe is excellent (though busy on a Friday! not surprisingly), and the staff are all very friendly. The fish fry was small in portion, but yummy. And the floors are sticky, but in the friendly, and not dirty, neighborhood bar way. I am looking forward to coming back in the daylight and warmer weather for what I'm sure will be a very fun experience.“
“Great farm home ombience. Really personable service. Great wine and cocktail selection. Great menu with fresh ingredients. Can't wait to return.Vegetarian options: Selection availableKid-friendliness: Kids are no problems.Parking: Plenty of parking“
“The service is excellent the food is always the best in Oconomowoc. The staff is lead by the best general manager in town,Emily she makes sure that everything is perfect. No place I'd rather eat they have tons of meatless options which is great!!“
“The staff is so friendly and the food has been hot & fresh on our last few visits! Today during our visit, a few staff waved at my daughter when we entered and one of the managers even gave a stuffed Scoopie to one of his employees to give to my toddler! It made her day. I noticed they knew a lot of regulars by name which I thought was cool. I’ve been very impressed the last few times we’ve gone as the food is hot & fresh and the staff is always friendly and makes conversation.“
“Wonderfully delicious Food and Friendly & Helpful employees. Manager was gracious about taking care of a maintenance item in the ladies bathroom. We are regulars at Culver's and enjoy a variety of items each time!Susie & Alan & Service Dog EmmaParking: Convenient and easy access parking“
“The bartender, Megan handled the entire house by herself including several tables and she remained friendly and on top of her game the whole time. The food was really good and the people we interacted with were fun. I will go back again soon.“
“The Chili's Grill & Bar in Oconomowoc is an excellent location. They have excellent and friendly service from start to finish. The food is top-notch, especially the chips/salsa and skillet cookie. The restaurant/atmosphere is clean and located in a nice area. I would absolutely recommend this Chili's location!“
“We had a party of 3 last night. I wanted to try something different and saw they had gluten free options. Best decision ever!Elle our server was fabulous. The Seafood Linguine was to die for. Best gluten free pasta I have ever! Plus the chef made sure it didn't have any dairy. The sauce, oh my. I want the recipe, hehe.Decor was fun and sophisticated. Can't wait to go back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten and dairy free.“
“Easy location to find with plenty of parking. It's the oldest restaurant in Wisconsin from 1848. The entrance is a little tight but they are handicapped accessible. Our waiter was a personable middle aged man with a warm smile and a raspy voice named Ryan, who I highly recommend . Erin is the assistant general manager who was pleasant to work with for a future event that I am planning. We were able to try new foods and a delicious pickled vegetables with two different breads for snacking. The escargot was exceptional with the puff pastry instead of mushroom caps which I'm allergic too. I ordered the scallops, my wife got the filet and my mother in law ordered the New York Strip and both steaks were cooked to the correct temperature. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and retirement so the restaurant comped her a free lemon cream brûlée which sounded so good I had to have my own. My mother in law had the Grasshopper Torte. I am looking forward to our next visit because I tried something that I had never eaten or heard of, which was sunchoke and it was superb, mixed the other ingredients in the brown butter scallops. YES I will order it again.“
“We had four adults and two children in our group. Both kids have food allergies, but one of them has complicated allergies. No eggs, dairy, nuts, pork, turkey etc etc. Our waitresses name was Kristina and she was unbelievable. She kept going back to the kitchen to question the chef about food ingredients and preparation without making it seem like an inconvenience. Her overall attentiveness to customer service was impressive. We did have a little hiccup in preparation of one of the orders but it was remedied quickly and satisfactorily. The food was delicious and well worth the price. Nicely varied menu selection. This was our first visit but won't be our last. Only downfall was knowing the place was located there without being told. We drive by a couple of times a week and never even knew it was there! Glad we do know now!! The Amber Breaded Cod and Seafood Platter were both spectacular along with all the other food we ordered.Kid-friendliness: We felt it was definitely kid friendly. We took a 7 and 12 year old with us!“
