“This place is what to be expected when your looking for a good spot to warm up on a cold day. Soup came with the meal. Chili was extra. We went with the soup, cream of chicken and chicken and dumplings, which were great.Polish sausage and kraut was good, German potato salad was excellent! Ill go back just for that. “We had the fish fry on Friday. We called ahead and picked up to eat at home (10 mins from pickup). Fish was good. Cole slaw and beans were good. Fresh cut fries were. Total miss that day……soggie, undercooked, drippy…….just a miss. Partially due to take out……but, not the under cooked part. We all agreed we’d try them again and not get the fresh fries.“
“I was here for the New Years buffet. It was awesome! The prime rib was so tender I cut it with a bitter knife and very tasty.The jumbo breaded shrimp was perfect. The broasted chicken was very moist and tasty. The salad bar was a nice size. The green beans were perfect. Plus there was too much food for me to try. I will be back!“

Always friendly staff, and down home comfortable feel. With reasonable pricing for both food and beverage it is a favorite for many folks.“
“This place has events there for Bingo on Wednesdays. It is really cool that it has factoids on the tables to eat where it will tell you about the state and states near, or important to the place. I always go to get a Pizza there that has all the topics on it I like.“
