New American Restaurants near Watertown, WI

“We love Connection Cafe! When we moved here from just outside Denver I kept driving by for TWO years and seeing the laundromat and coffee shop and I judged the coffee shop by the laundromat due to my previous city experiences without even going inside. This is not "those" places. This place is amazing! I was humbled by my own pre-set judgements. It is beautiful and cozy. The owners are wonderful. I have tried many things on the menu and have never had anything that didn't taste fantastic! I also like the outdoor seating by the trees and field out back. Very peaceful. It was my loss that I took two years before I stepped inside. If that's you. Just go in and check it out and you'll not regret it. We have been faithfully spending a decent amount of our coffee and dining out budget at Connection Cafe for 3 years:) Love it!

“We have been here three times. Great Friday fish fry. We had great service and the food is excellent. A wonderful place to go.“

“This place stays busy and I understand why. It’s got a truck stop which is great for drivers like myself! Always a treat to be able to park worry free and enjoy a great meal. Each time we have free time and come thru the area we stop, park and eat. (Unrelated to restaurant it’s next to an outlet mall so that’s great too!) If you want something to complain about with this place it will be how difficult the choices will be with those pastries cuz we all know we want one of each! Great food and deserts. My CPA probably doesn’t care for my visits here cuz we spend but it’s worth it!

Parking: There is parking for regular vehicles near the gas station and restaurant and then there’s the truck parking next to the restaurant. Not as huge as a regular truck stop but plenty enough to get in and take care of your what you need.“

“Our reservation was misplaced (apparently because I made it online) but the staff cheerfully and promptly accommodated our party of seven. We had an excellent brunch, and everyone fully enjoyed their dish. Our server was friendly, polite, and willing to check on information she didn't know: gluten free and vegetarian options. The kitchen did place bacon on the vegetarian's plate, despite being asked not to, but the server was not responsible for that.
