Great fish fry, I had perch, my wife had cod, both were very good. Service was efficient and friendly. The old fashions were great, muddled as they should be. This place is a Wisconsin classic.

Tried to get food the second time and the kitchen closed 1.5 hours before posted closing time with nothing mention online. Not the best for business.

Drove from Racine to here to check out a car Liz was saleing after I showed up she claimed she didn't have the keys even though we talked 1 hour before we meet.
Great bar burger. Clean and friendly. Burger came out fast.
Alien Burger (onions, mushrooms, bacon, Swiss, & American cheese). Burger was cooked perfectly. Would definitely get a burger there again.

One of the best breakfast options around. Been many years since we've come for dinner (pre-covid), but I'm sure thats still solid.
We took my brother in law and nephew out for breakfast before they left town on a Saturday. Both were delighted with their selections (Eggs Bennedict and 2 big Manhole Cover pancakes).
Our food took its time but nothing prolonged. Our waitress was the only one working the floor & bar. She did a fantastic job despite the sudden rush of people that showed up between 10:30‐11am.
When we arrived, at least half of the tables were open & there was not a soul at the bar. By the time we wrapped up, every table and seat at the bar was full and 2 parties were waiting for a table to open.
We do prefer this location over the Southside (actually closer to home).

The 1 star review is solely on the fact they added a tip after I signed it for NO tip. This was a pick up order, I never add tip on pick up orders. My total was $52.46, bank pulled 62.47 they added a tip for $10.01. Won’t ever go back!
