The greens are fast, and the food served at the restaurant is good. While the practice facilities may be lacking, the course itself is a favorite among many golfers. The course features long grass around the fairways, requiring precise shots. Guests have noted the course is in great shape, except for occasional goose droppings on the greens and tee boxes, which the management cannot always control. The new owner has made positive changes to enhance the overall experience. Despite being a difficult course, Foxfire Golf Club is an absolutely beautiful place to play a round of golf.
