First of all the sign outside reads The Pines. But when you get inside it's Las Flores. Maybe one side is one restaurant and the other side is another. Very confusing. The service was good and our wait person was friendly and efficient. The food was just ok. The refried beans were tasteless. This was probably a one and done for our group.
We stopped for breakfast to try it out as it is new to town. It is a Mexican restaurant, but they also have American food. The menu is 50-50 of each cuisine. The food was very good. We spoke with the owner, and he was very personable. We'll be going back to try lunch and/or supper soon.

Las Flores, also known as The Pines, offers a confusing dual-identity experience. The service is friendly and efficient, but the food is just average, with some dishes lacking flavor. The refried beans are tasteless, and the quesadilla has poor structure and flavor. The portions are small for the price, making it not a great value. However, the wait staff are nice, making the experience slightly more enjoyable.
