Always closed!!! Went there at 6 PM on a Friday night, their posted hours stated open until 10pm also stated they were “open” online. The previous time we arrived at 730 and they refused to seat us stating they were closing at 8 pm. Sad to see this as they always had great food.
great food at a decent price. service is always excellent with a very friendly and helpful staff. comfortable atmosphere. its my go to restaurant anytime I'm in the Wausau area
My husband and I went to Jalapeños for an anniversary drink this evening. We sat outside. Our host was so very kind. We were served chips and salsa, given and an anniversary shot of patron, and our two for one margaritas were on the house. THANK YOU JALAPEÑO for helping to make our 36th wedding anniversary special. You are truly one of a kind. 💕

Jalapenos Mexican Restaurante & Bar offers a great dining experience with delicious food, a friendly atmosphere, and excellent customer service. The restaurant is family-oriented and kid-friendly, with a variety of Mexican dishes and drinks, such as Ponchos Lemon & Lime chicken and a jalapeño margarita. While parking can be challenging during events at the nearby Grand Theater, the overall experience at Jalapenos is highly recommended.
