Went to Whiskey River NY Eve& had a lovely delicious rib eye etc as well as hot buttered rums. Was decorated very cute. A pleasant experience! Give them a visit.

Whiskey River | Bar & Grill is an amazing place to socialize, hangout, and eat excellent food in a family based atmosphere. The owners and their daughter are sweet and homely, serving homemade food with huge portion sizes at the best prices in all of Wausau. The menu is unique, as it is the only place that serves fish fry every day. The kitchen is open from 11am to 8pm daily. Customers note the chicken was fantastic, the salad cold and fresh, and the baked potato hit a delicious full plate of food. The bar is dark with a pool table, and the server was really nice. The community atmosphere allows people to talk around the bar, and everyone is welcome to chime in. For $50, get the blackened Cajun steak, which was very good, and look out for the specials. The establishment is family friendly with fabulous food for an amazing price and hospitality on point. A lovely delicious rib eye and hot buttered rums were enjoyed on New Year's Eve. It is decorated very cute, providing a pleasant experience.
