Gathering Place Brewing’s Tosa Taproom & Patio is a cool little hangout and great neighborhood taproom in a nice pocket on North Ave. The taproom has nice seating at the bar with several small tables and a back patio for nicer days, including a dog friendly patio. They brew a gambit of beer styles from IPAs to Pilsners and classic German style beers, with about a dozen of their beers on tap. They also have some sour options and limited wine and cocktails. For food, Midwest SAD makes food within their space; the corn and cuke salad with spinach, arugula, corn, cucumber, tomato’s, corona cheese and nicely balanced jalapeño ranch style dressing was great. Good hang, recommend.
