“Stopped into Patron tonight and was a little worried because it was getting close to closing time and we were worried about getting subpar food. I can tell you that we had nothing to worry about. The food was just like we were here at supper time and the staff was very attentive to our needs. We’ve been coming here since they first opened and the service and quality of food keep getting better and better. If you haven’t stopped here yet, you won’t be disappointed when you do. Keep up the great work Patron staff, can’t wait to come back“

The food was prepared perfectly, the portions were spot-on, and the chips and cheese were free for using the app (for the 1st time). “Best place in town for real authentic tacos and other Mexican cuisine... Love love love their tacos and tamales, but what really did it for me was the Esquites! If only it wasn't made with sweet corn, then it would be really like you get in Mexico (I know that they don't have access to that, and it's ok). Other than that .. “This is THE spot for Real and authentic Mexican food. Not your typical Americanized “Mexican” food. Nice and courteous people. Get out of your quesadilla and burrito element and try everything else on their menu.Nada de comida gringonizada, nada de eso. Comida authentica. Ambiente chingon y gente amable y respetosa.“

“This is a really cute place with friendly staff. I’ve tried a variety of foods and I have never been disappointed. I ordered a margarita tonight and it was super yummy. Never seems overly busy, but I wish it were because it’s great food and they deserve it! I usually sit at the bar and it seems like there are more carry out orders than dine-in.. which is good news if you plan to dine in because your waitress will be able to pay more attention to you! I like the tables bc there are pictures of horses on them. Anyway.. underrated place. I need to come here more!“

“Everything about this place is amazing from the decor to the service, and especially the food! I had the Birria dinner and it was delicious, best birria I've had in town. I also had the horchata to drink, it was delicious, rich and creamy. Our server, Yasir, was amazing. He was very kind and patient with us while providing excellent service.“

“We’ve just moved to Wisconsin from Texas and decided to stay in Wausau for the night. The pictures looked good and it was close by our hotel. We were the only table in there at 9 on a Friday, but let me tell you… this was by far the best Mexican food we have had since leaving Texas in June. Wait staff was attentive, food was impeccable and I liked that it was low key! 10/10 will be back!“

“One of my more favorite Wisconsin bars to walk into in recent years. Just outside of Wausau as the country starts. Just looks and feels right inside and very much more your dad's bar than a modern a bar. Food is ok but if you like a lot, you'll get it.“
