🚫 AVOID THIS HOTEL – FILTHY, UNSAFE, AND DISHONEST
We arrived to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and were given a room that was absolutely filthy—bugs, stains, bad odor, and a leaking tub. We reported it right away, and even contacted Expedia. The hotel now claims we said nothing—a complete lie.
They moved us to another room just as dirty. Even my 10-year-old had to explain to staff how unsanitary it was. That night, police were outside, and we were told...read full review
Our family had a fantastic stay at The Vue. All the staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely friendly. The rooms were clean, well cared for, and smelled clean. The amenities were the best feature. The kids and I had a multitude of choices of fun to do within a 10 minute drive of our hotel. This made our stay convenient and packed full of great memories.
King "suite" is the equivalent of a college dorm room and not worth the price. $1900 for 4 nights. On the 5th floor with a balcony swarming with bugs. Beautiful view but impossible to sit out there. Walls are thin. We could hear everything in the room next to us. The place looks wore out. The bathroom is small. Provided shampoo was empty. Disappointed compared to expectation. We have stayed at much better places in the Dells for less. First and last time here.

Dells Boathouse - Waterfront Grill & Bar is a beautiful place with a beautiful setting, especially at sunset and overlooking a beautiful river view. The service is great, with fantastic friendly service and extremely accommodating staff for large parties. The scenery and ambiance are excellent. Food reviews are mixed: steaks are done perfectly, the Caesar salad is amazing, and the mushroom risotto is tasty. However, some dishes need work—the frozen burger patty was dry and flavorless with wilted lettuce, chicken was overcooked and dry, and asparagus was burnt. Cocktails are exceptional with a nice selection, though one seemed to have no alcohol. The restaurant is a great little hotel bar and grill, just off the tourist path, offering a quiet and quaint dinner overlooking a sunset.
