Northfork Fin & Filet Reviews
We have visited Northfork each time we’ve stayed in Rhinelander. We love the menu selection, the staff is amazing and we never walk away hungry. It is our favorite spot in the Northwoods!
Christie could not have been nicer! She so kindly was able to seat our party last minute and the experience could not have been better! Elaine was an excellent server and the food was absolutely delicious - the portions were huge! We loved our food, the drinks were fantastic and the atmosphere was adorable and will definitely be back as well as recommending this to our friends!
We’ve had the pleasure of dining here several times…Celebrated birthdays, a couple holidays. Each time I have tried something new, usually one of the nightly specials. My husband primarily sticks with a ribeye. Each time has been excellent from libations, both the non & with alcohol choices (highly recommend the burnt sugar old fashioned) to service. Northfork Fin & Filet offers a total experience, featuring masterful cocktails like the burnt sugar old fashioned and blood orange margaritas, along with the best desserts in generous portions, including homemade coconut cake with grilled pineapple ice. The prime rib and Plantation Filet Mignon are done to perfection, paired with exceptional sides like fresh scallops, asparagus with a strawberry reduction, roasted Brussel sprouts, and parmesan garlic potatoes. The restaurant is known for its gluten-free options, making it a great choice for diners with dietary restrictions. Reservations are a must due to its popularity. Some diners have noted that the prices can be high for the quality and portion sizes, citing slow service and a lack of complimentary items like bread rolls. Nevertheless, the NY strip, Bourbon Glazed Salmon, Moroccan noodle chicken dish, and Caribbean scallops with mango sauce were highlights for many, along with the hand-cut ribeye with maple bourbon reduction. The stuffed mushrooms and locally sourced steaks are also must-tries. Overall, Northfork Fin & Filet is a place worth visiting for a special occasion, where guests are treated like royalty and can enjoy live music during events like Oktoberfest.
