“Just had wonderful afternoon at Sereni Tea at Annmore,Wv.Red Hatters group which consisted on 14 ladies and 4 gentleman had a tea.We had to make reservations.She does only teas.Does not sale tea individually.We first picked out a beautiful tea cup and saucer to drink from.We are seated in beautiful decorated room with antiques and of course tea cups,beautiful tables.We picked a tea from about 20 different teas.She brought us a beautiful pot of our tea.We we then was served scones with lemon curd.We then was served a plate with cup of soup and different types of finger sandwiches.Then dessert.We received a pudding cup dessert with different types of little desserts around it with slice apple and grape.Wonder day and we are full.The only way to be there is to call and make reservations.Well worth afternoon.Men all loved it too!“

“I was very impressed with the elegant dinner at Hart Kitchen in Downtown Clarksburg.I did not expect to find such a great restaurant walking distance to my apartment.We started out with some special French Onion Deviled Eggs.My partner ordered a delicious Prime Rib and I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger.As we were finishing our wine, I decided to order Mary's dessert special. It was brownie bites with chocolate syrup on top of ice cream.We were so well taken care of.One of the owners, Anne, checked up on us many times.Thank you so much. We will be back.“

“We had a great experience, it needed some black pepper but that was easily added at the table. We had great service by the workers and the price was good for how full we were when we left. I had the country fried steak with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. The mac n cheese was fantastic! My husband had the super bird and likes it a lot. He was excited to see it on the menu.“

“I was invited to a bridal shower luncheon at Julio's Cafe in Clarksburg, WV. (A Saturday in early March, 2024). I mistakenly thought that I would be going to a Mexican restaurant but, to the contrary, Julio's is a fine dining ($$$) Italian restaurant. The buffet lunch was made-from-scratch and excellent. It featured perfectly fried thick-and-gooey grilled cheese sandwiches; white pasta fagioli soup; chicken pastina soup with ditalini pasta; garlic toast; and spicy marinated peppers (which I put on my sandwich). I've had pasta and fagioli soup many times over the years but none as good as this -- obviously made from a traditional recipe from a real Italian cook! Some also enjoyed mimosas or aperol spritzes. The party host also purchased small bottles of Prosecco wine from the restaurant for us to take home as party favors. The ambiance was very comfortable in the back room for our group of about 30 persons, with three tables of about ten ladies each. The food was served along the counter of the bar area. A waitress took and delivered our drinks. There was a fireplace in the room but it was not lit. I hope to return one day for a special occasion to try their dinner menu.“

“We had a group reservation for 8am. They changed it to 8:30am. They then sat other tables after we had been seated, and began taking their orders before ours.Orders were slow coming out even after we had placed them. Food was overcooked.Then when it was time to oay, I requested my first responser/fire dept discount.Even though there were those who knew I was associated with the fire department, I was refused the discount as I had no ID.So sad, been receiving it forvas long as they have been giving it.Additionally, the don't not provide a senior or Veteran discount....“

“I traveled to Bridgeport for work & Cody’s was an incredibly delicious find behind my hotel. The chicken pub sandwich with whipped pimento cheese is some of the best I’ve ever had. I wish I could have a bottle of the marinade used on the chicken…so juicy & flavorful. Great selection of cocktails made with WV sourced ingredients-the blackberry lemonade was refreshing. My next trip to Bridgeport I’ll definitely be back to Cody’s!“

“One of the best kept secrets in town. No one told us about it we just stumbled in one morning into one of the best breakfasts.Wish we'd have known about this year's ago it's a shame we're moving in a couple weeks we'll miss all the little treasures like “

“The restaurant was very clean & neat. I did carryout. (They also do free delivery with a $25 order) The woman that rung me and took my order was very sweet and kind. The chicken salad on a croissant was good. It needed some salt and pepper. It came with chips and I got a bottle of Pepsi also. The outside of the building is nicely painted. Overall, I am very pleased.“

“I had no idea this place was a restaurant! Their food is real food! My husband had the Reuben and it had real corned beef not that fake lunch meat . This place is a hidden gem. The place is clean and the service was s great! We will definitely be back !“

“Food is great!! Only complaint is the closing times on Friday and Saturday! 7pm on Fri and 5pm on Sat is WAY too early! These are peak evenings that would bring so much more buisness! I can't count the times me and friends/family have wanted to order those evenings and cant“

“Home made chips basket is a must. All salad dressings are homemade. Chicken Panini was delicious. Very good desert. Generally have a couple of local craft beers. Very nice outdoor patio with fire pit. Usually have live music Fridays. Parking is a little bit of walk from entrance. Beautiful wooden bar. Restaurant temperature kept on the cool side. Pleasant staff. Definitely worth a try.“

“We were meeting up with friends in Clarksburg WV so for dessert my spouse and I also went to a favorite place of ours. You guessed it! Meagher's Irish Pub once again did not disappoint us. (Don't tell my Scottish Great Grandmother). We were only going to have adult beverage and not eat so we sat at the bar. Ashley D. was fantastic and patient since I couldn't decide. Finally a flight was created with an Orange Oswald which is an IPA,Peace Among Worlds is a Porter,Sinner is a 6.0 Cider, Mothman is a Black IPA. My spouse had two 12 oz. Smithwicks. So yes we had our dessert and very enjoyable selections. The decor made me think we were back in Ireland and we were in the company of an Angel. Thank you Ashley you were busy but took time to make our time very enjoyable.“

“I moved to the area a few years ago, and had wanted to stop many times. I finally did, and loved the atmosphere so much, it has become my go to. Its basically an everyone knows everyone kind of place, friendly staff, good usuals, and the food is well above the normal for a bar and grille. We honestly have cravings for their steak sandwiches at least once a week and have to pop in. You won't regret stopping in for some food,a drink,and conversation. We've never had any sort of issue at Franklin's as we have at a few other places. Love love love it!“

“The staff was friendly. We did have to notify the bar tender that we had arrived because it's seat yourself. The booths needed wiped down and she was happy to do it.The large salad was absolutely a large!! It was a simple salad with fresh crisp lettuce and red ripe tomato. The house dressing is fantastic! The ribeye sandwich with cheese on garlic bread was also extremely tasty! The meat was juicy and it had good flavor I think I would have enjoyed it even more with a slice of tomato on it!Overall, the meal was delicious. I will be back on our next visit to Clarksburg. I would definitely recommend eating here!!“
