We set at the bar and it was amazing watching chef/cook knocking out the orders. Hannah was great and the lady that kept making my daughter the cream sodas was as well. “What an amazing gem that The Sportsman Tavern brings to our area! From the decorations to the pimento cheese stuffed pretzels — the variety of live music, block parties, the number game, Queen of Hearts board game along with tables having build in chess and checker boards! The owners, Brittany, Lee, and Dan are so welcoming and keep an extensive collection of beverages! It is an atmosphere that is unlike any in the area and the customers that frequent have all been such an amazing caliber of people! Everyone should keep up to date with the events here - they’re constantly doing something!”

“I am a transplant from further south so yeah I'm picky with my BBQ... the smell wafting through the air was phenomenal! That's when my belly took over my brain. Quick a left into the lot. Upon reaching the window I was telling my belly "think you might be on a great path". Gazed upon the menu board that had some fair prices, which became great prices once the portion was served and a "take my money now" price point ((iykyk)) once I started to chow down. The meat is tender, spot on season, smoke time was to the second. His homemade sauce only enhances the meat, no smothering here. Baked beans *chef's kiss*. Potatoes definitely art *especially if you get the loaded (I believe it's called) baked potato*. Then to top it all off the service was with a smile and conversation that felt like a family cookout. My only draw back was the slaw but that's more so my taste preference (your taste buds may sing glory).Point is if The BBQ Pit food trailer is open as you travel through Rupert and you enjoy BBQ, then do your taste buds, belly, wallet, body and soul a "flavor" ? stop in and find out.”

Lady at the counter was so sweet and patient with my children, gave my husband tons of extra pickles (to his delight), and was helpful in making suggestions. Plus everything was delicious!!! “Lewisburg, WV, is a wonderful town, and Del Sol Cantina is a perfect complement! The restaurant is clean and well maintained (the patio looked very nice, but it was too cold to eat out there). Service was stellar and attentive. We had the chips appetizer with guac and queso cheese - mmmmm. My wife got the birria tacos, which were super juicy and tasty. The real star of the evening was the blackened shrimp tacos, though - a perfect blend of crispy cabbage, sweet sauce, caramelized onions, and crispy seasoned shrimp. YES! There are lots of other appealing options on the menu, so we'll be back. Great job, guys!”
