The Char is a charming restaurant with excellent food and a relaxing atmosphere. The chicken kabobs over rice are a must-try, with tender meat and a sweet taste. The scallops are flavorful and tender, while the shrimp chowder is beyond belief. The house salad with tomatoes marinated in dressing is excellent. The ambiance is elegant and peaceful, making it a perfect escape from city life. The salmon, bacon-wrapped pesto chicken, and Pistachio Ice Cream pie are all delicious options. The staff, especially Debbie, provide friendly and attentive service. Valet parking is available, or a short walk up a hill is required. Overall, a wonderful dining experience worth returning to.
