Fantastic food and wonderful staff. We both had the Meatloaf and it was just excellent. The sides matched the Meatloaf. We will be coming again.
This is THE place! We tried the fish, meatloaf, pork chops, and chicken — my family could not stop raving about all of it! The cornbread, mashed potatoes, and collards were all highlights, too. My dad said it was the best meal he’d had in a long time. Real home cooking that’s made with love at a reasonable price.We’re not from the area, but we’ll definitely be back!
Upland Soul Food, LLC is a small restaurant with a friendly atmosphere, offering a daily menu and daily specials with big flavors. The owners are extremely friendly, and the food is made with love. Prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. Must-try dishes include barbecue chicken, collards, and mashed potatoes, which are truly amazing. Despite limited parking, the restaurant is a must-visit location in Beckley, worth the trip even for those who don't typically go downtown.
