“While visiting the Harper's Ferry area from Ottawa, we wanted to go a diner style restaurant in the area. After consulting Google Maps and reviews we decided to try Rossy's place. It was great. Friendly service, generous portions of good food.Parking: lot right next to the restaurant.“

“I've been to several of these style of Peruvian rotisserie chicken places, all very similar. We had the family meal #3 that had 2 chickens and 6 sides to go. Service was outstanding. Everyone was very friendly and polite. The food came out very fast (drive-thru speed). Here is the rankings compared to similar chicken places:Chicken - 6/10OK flavor. Somehow dry and soggy at the same time. It was missing something.. or maybe a couple somethings.Sides:***Red Potatoes - 6/10Cooked perfectly and a nice texture. Needed seasoning..a lot of seasoning (this is a theme)***Peruvian Rice - 4/10Dry, bland, and nothing but a ln even more blank canvas than white rice but with more calories.*** Plantains - 7/10Not bad. Sweet and cooked well.*** Mixed Veggies - 2/10Eww... ZERO seasoning. I think they even kept them clear of the salt shaker. Overcooked... mushy.. Nope.*** Yuca -- 7/10At least salt them a little... but nice.*** Black Beans -- 7.5/10Very nice. Good flavor. A little seasoning once again could make these pop.Probably won't be back here. The staff was awesome and the place was very clean in a nice location. Price was VERY reasonable. They need to tweak what they have a little and it would be a good regular rotation restaurant for my household.Parking: Lots of parking for the amount of storefronts.Kid-friendliness: Plenty to choose and kid happy options.“
