Good food. We had a large group. Seating was a little tight. Staff kept refilling chips & drinks to keep everyone happy til food came. Had nachos carnitas. Would go again. 2 people & the bill was only $31. No complaints.

ordered my food an hour before they close and specified what not to put in my food due to an allergy I could not eat. picked up my order 20 mins before close and didnt make it too far down the road before checking my food to realize they kept everything on the meal I specifically asked to be removed. I drove back 15 mins before close and the door was locked while multiple employees were inside behind the bar and others just standing against the wall saw me outside holding the bag with my food trying to get help. I had to pound on the glass very hard to get somebody to finally assist me and they come out acting like they don't speak English. I gave them back the food and left. OVERALL HORRIBLE SERVICE IN GENERAL. and overpriced.

I thought this place would be smaller but it’s actually pretty comfortable on the inside. The bar runs the length of the dining area with plenty of space between it and the tables. Since it was my first time here I let them order for me and I got the street tacos and it was delicious. The service was great and they were really kind to me. I am excited to go back and have more. They even brought me my own big bowl of chips. Which was nice as I was by myself and starving. I couldn’t have had a better first experience at a place. Nice to have a Mexican restaurant downtown and within walking distance in all of Charleston. The atmosphere is dark and the decor is really aesthetically pleasing. It really works for setting the mood. Good place to watch the games I imagine though none were on while I was in. I will be back with guest.Parking: Parking is limited but you shouldn’t have to park more than a block away at a meter or at the parking garage located on Summers Street. I believe it is free.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get inside the restaurant from the sidewalk and sit at the end cap of the table quite comfortably.

I went with a coworker for lunch. I had the birria ramen and she had the lunch special, burrito Mike. She said it was typical Mexican restaurant fare. Good but nothing special. It was huge, though. The ramen was surprisingly good. It's greasy but the flavor is great. The service was adequate. Our server seemed distracted or uninterested but we didn't really have any extra requests so nothing was missed. The size of the restaurant is a bit of an issue. The bar takes up more than half of the tiny space and they've squeezed as many tables as they could fit into the rest. Several times, servers and customers walking by our table brushed their clothes right through my food just trying to squeeze between the tables and the bar patrons. If I order here again, it'll be take out.Parking: During lunch hours, it's nearly impossible to find a parking space within 4 or 5 blocks of Capitol Street. There are paid city parking buildings nearby but many of the spaces are reserved during business hours and the closest ones are very difficult to navigate due to the size of the spaces and the layout of the buildings.Kid-friendliness: It's very loud and it's more bar than restaurant. If you want to take your kids to Cozumel, I'd choose one of their other locations.Wheelchair accessibility: You could get a wheelchair through the door but good luck navigating beyond the threshold.

The right side is a bar and the left side is tables. Tables and chair combo seats you low at the table, so the table is high on your torso which can be awkward for kids or shorter people. However, Food came quickly. Anything I have ordered I have difficulty finishing, there is so much and it is so good. I would suggest going on off times, as it can get busy and then the poor staff has to rush around. I have found if you go during off peak hours, they are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Overall, an amazing experience every time.

Top notch food, perfect service, great prices, and an excellent atmosphere make this place a must visit. Order anything with the birria in it and thank yourself later. The Miguel Dip is a can't miss as well.Went there for lunch today. Even though they have heavy competition from some pretty great restaurants, I think this is the best Mexican place in town now. Full bar, TVs for the sports fans, plenty of seating despite the downtown location.
