I ordered a hot caramel latte, and it was excellent—rich, bold flavor with just the right balance of sweetness. “As I was passing by on the way back to Delaware we Stopped to get dinner I could remember This place head the best wings and steak when I used to live there so we definitely had to get a bite to eat before we left as we got there we were greeted and didn’t have to wait long to be sat The place was clean the food was great but the service was excellent From my waiter Chelsie I’d like to think that I am pretty particular but my husband calls me extra but she knew exactly what I needed I made our experience One to remember She’s Super bubbly and attentive! “I was looking for a place halfway between Lewisburg and Charleston with things for kids to do. The Chocolate Moose was perfect. Our bunch of three adults and six kids was a lot - a lot of noise, and a lot of energy. The staff handled our coffee (delicious!) and ice cream requests with patience and smiles. Because of The Chocolate Moose a crew of kid cousins who don’t get to visit with each other very often had a great afternoon together playing mini golf, eating ice cream and playing board games. We will be back as soon as we can.”

My sister and brother-in-law schlepped beers and seltzers all the way from their Florida brewery for my brother’s wedding—because what’s a family gathering without a little fermentation? Then, disaster struck: a CO2 regulator went down at the worst possible moment (because of course it did). Total beer emergency. Enter this amazing local brewery, who came through in the clutch like the CO2 fairy godparents we didn’t know we needed. Total legends. Breweries helping breweries—it’s a beautiful thing. Support local. Drink good beer. And if you're in Cool Ridge, go say hi. They saved the wedding beer. That’s basically hero status. 🏆🍻 And if you are ever in Sopchoppy, FL. “My husband and I eat at Cheddar's often. I love the food, the service, the prices and the atmosphere. I love the lemon chicken for it's flavor and it's not fried. This is the first time I have been unsatisfied with it as it was so salty I could not eat it. No lemon flavor at all. The rice was not seasoned as usual, either. I will go back but it this happens again, I will send it back. Maybe the cook was having a rough day.”

The folks was nice and the food was good.
I had their meatloaf dinner with a side of mashed taters
and another side of mac with cheese.
Instead of regular bread or a roll I got some cornbread.

“So my wife and I wound up in Beckley for an event we could no longer attend. We decided to see what kind of fun we could have around town & came across Jimmie's Place. When we went in it was just us, the bartender Sam & the door guy Travis. They were very welcoming & Sam made some great drinks & was so very friendly. This place is completely under the category of dive bar but it was a really cool dive bar that I'm glad we went to. A cool experience. If we end up in Beckley again we will definitely go back.”

“Yesterday me and my sons met my sister n law for coffee at ABC Coffee Shop! We had the most amazing experience. The barista was very friendly and helpful. My two sons are 11 and 4, they ordered hot chocolate and because it was for children she suggested that she not make it so hot for them. I thought that was very sweet and thoughtful! The coffee I got was absolutely amazing and brewed just perfect! The students that were in there studying was extremely friendly and welcoming! There was some students making balloon rocket backpacks and they gave them to my sons. I would love for the locals to learn more about this coffee shop and support it!! I highly recommend you try it!!!!!”
