“Nice little place with a very nice atmosphere. I was not completely satisfied with my entreé but the fried pickles and the edamame salad were killer good!! I will definitely try them out again. I hear good things and they seemed a bit understaffed that day. Every place has an off day here and there, so with the total tastiness of the sides and appetizers, I will definitely give them another shot. Perhaps for dinner.“

“Tucked away in the Daniels/Beaver, WV area, this is a great spot for lunch and dinner. For lunch, I recommend the porketta and you should try the fried pickle appetizers. My favorite appetizer for dinner is the chicken lettuce wrap. Steaks are good and I enjoy the Zesty Pasta Parmesan with chicken. Service is always great!“

“The Mad Hatter was so much fun! I came with some friends on St Patrick's day since we were in the area to explore the New River Gorge National Park. We came all the way from New York but the staff and people at the Mad Hatter made us feel very welcome there. The drinks were good and the ambiance was a dive bar, but done really well. Cool theme, cool people, great drinks. I would go back to West Virginia just to go to the Mad Hatter again!“

“Very cozy environment. This is the only gambling establishment that I've been to you can still smoke at.. machines hit okay we played a few different ones and they all seemed to pay a bit! Service is great and for our first time we felt like regulars ? they are getting ready to pave the parking lot and parking and location are good.“

“We were passing through on a trip and stopped in here for dinner. Excellent service! Our waitress was Mallory. We had the broccoli bites appetizers and I had the frisco burger and my husband had the classic burger. Yum!! Loved the atmosphere. Recommend it.“
