Wow, what a fantastic little restaurant snuggled away in the mts of WV. Best steak sandwich I think I've ever had and get the ranch for your fries. If you're in Canaan Valley it's worth the stop in.

We used to come to Canaan Valley every summer for the Close family reunion. We'd always go to Big Jonns the day we arrived.
The food was always enjoyable and the staff was amazing.
I have so many wonderful memories at this restaurant.
I haven't been back in probably 15 years and that's why I'm doing my review now since Google reviews weren't really a thing...
