“I had some great ribs at the wheeling casino during this holiday weekend the gentlemen on the truck was not only kind but very pleasant to deal with was very knowledgeable about smoking meats and flavoring but the ribs were hot and very moist the way they should be a great smoke flavor packed with a great rub. we got to talking about me smoking meats and still learning. he gave me an idea to try with Jim beam which will be my next task on the smoker. “I took my family of four there after a friend recommended. Usually, when we go out to dinner at least one meal isn’t that good. I was amazed that everything was absolutely amazing. The steakhouse burger I ordered was hands down the best burger I’ve ever eaten. The poutine was great, the pretzel sticks with beer cheese was sublime. My wife and 17 year old daughter ordered chicken sandwiches and they raised the bar on chicken sandwiches. The salad was great. My younger daughter (picky eater) ordered a pizza from The 304 Wood Fired Pizza, it was the best pizza I’ve had in the Ohio Valley. In conclusion, this place is one of the best restaurants, if not the best restaurant in Wheeling. Definitely going to be a regular there. I’d have to give it a 15 out of 10 rating.“

“We are from out of town & saw the parking lot was busy but decided we’d try anyways! It was really really busy but Sara our waitress apologized - it looked like she was the only waitress. We assured her it’s ok & she was wonderful. It took a very long time to get our food but when Sara brought it - it was hot & delicious! We had no complaints at all! We also appreciated how nice Sara was in spite of her trying to service the entire place! She was wonderful“

“Went here for Mother’s Day Dinner towards the end of the night, and even after what I’m sure was a long hard day, the staff were so welcoming and kind!! Many said goodbye as we were leaving and our waitress was attentive and friendly. Longhorn is by far the best chain restaurant around and the food is always so good. The service really stands out here.“

“Patsy's Pizza in elm Grove is really starting to suffer! Used to be so so good. Now the people are great and the service is wonderful but they stopped putting as much cheese on their Pizza. So you have to order extra cheese just to make it look normal and taste normal. So I go to DiCarlo's in downtown Wheeling all the time now! It never disappoints they're always on time. They never make you wait 45 minutes after the time. You 've specified you wanted your order ready. They are awesome!“

“This week I took my high school aged class to Oglebay Resort for a field trip. We took this same trip last year and had lunch at generations outside on the deck. This year when we returned all they asked for was dinner at generations. A quick search showed me that it was trivia night. There was NO WAY I was taking 20 teenage girls there during trivia!! 🤣🤣🤣 They were more than happy when I said we could order take out! I felt awful calling to order food for 22 people during trivia. I wish I could remember who I spoke with, she was sweet, happy, and pleasant! She didn’t seem phased or bothered by my huge order! When we completed to order she read everything back to me and it was perfect! She then replied with “give us 25 minutes and we will have everything ready” I couldn’t believe it!! 25 minutes for alllll that food!! I went to pick up our order and sure enough it was ready!! She helped me carry all the bags to my car, still smiling and sweet as ever! I thanked her and was on my way back to the resort! The kids all got their dinner from Generations and everything was perfect! Not one order had a mistake! Our food was amazing and perfect!! Thank you!! You all are amazing!! My class will hopefully see you again next year! I will see you again soon!! You are definitely one of our all time favorites!“

“First time I went to pickles, I went specifically to get their fried pickles. This was about a year and a half ago and the coating was very thick and I was highly disappointed. I thought how can you have a bar with that name and not have outstanding pickles??? My girlfriend talked me into going again the other day and I thought okay. I'll give them another chance. Oh my gosh! Whoever made them did a perfect job. The coatiing was thin. The pickles were large Spears. It was awesome! Awesome! awesome! Did I mention it was awesome? Lol Can't wait to go back!“

I got wet muddy we stopped in for dinner didn't realize it was so close to closing they were very sweet I was wrapped in a blanket the waitress was very sweet I have enormous dietary restrictions she even separated the spinach out of the salad mix she checked on us was so sweet and caring. our food was gd she even sent me home with extra biscuits. I just wish I could have gotten her name cute blonde very sweet.“
