Calamity J Grill & Bar offers a boho atmosphere reminiscent of the original restaurant from the 90s, with excellent food and good prices. The menu features a variety of dishes, including bone in wings, a good Ruben, pretzel prime rib sliders, Cheeseburger with fries, and Jalapeño Poppers. The bar serves excellent cocktails, with a Tanqueray and tonic being notable. The staff is friendly and phenomenal, providing service above and beyond. The art work on the walls and the overall design of the building are loved, with a cute little balcony on the second floor offering a wonderful touch overlooking 3rd Ave and Marshall Campus. It's super close to the Interstate and right across the street from the Main entrance of Marshall University. The vibes are just right for a casual uplifting place to eat.
