“Today was my first time here. I prefer family owned mom n pop style establishments, and this one definitely tops my list! I’m admittedly a picky person, and Shaffer’s far exceeds my expectations! Food is great, people here are super friendly and down to earth. Highly recommend.”

“Food was just ok. Didn’t have the beer we ordered. Didn’t have ribs. Didn’t have the rolls to serve with the pulled pork platter. Baked potato was super cold. We were the only customers for lunch. Maybe we should make sure it’s a busier time.”

“This is my go to pizza shop... Everything is awesome. Garlic bread with cheese and bacon . Yum yum... Antipasto salad is off the chain. And the baked spaghetti is also great . It's all great. ??????”

“Super kind staff and helpful! Clean and professional. Order was fresh and made to order! Delicious Turkey BLT and Steak Sandwiches we ordered. Self serve soda fountain. Clean dining room and staff was super cognizant of gloves and such. Close to gasoline and right off Interstate ramp. Plenty of parking. Kid friendly. Vegetarians will be in heaven!”

“Didn't have food but I can say the lady working had a very pleasant personality! She was answering all our questions about the Barefoot Wines with no signs of being aggravated that we ask her about everyone they sold. LoL. I'm sorry I don't have her name but I intend on going back to Java Joe's more than once.

Parking: Parking lot had a great amount of lights so I had no fear of getting out of the car and walking only feet away to entryway.”

“WV pizza staple! If you like thin crust style pizza, like me, then this is the place. Their antipasto said are huge and they have a wide variety of pizza /Italian based foods. Buy-one get-one Tuesday too! Our server was polite and quick with our and other customers food as well. Nice homey feel..”

“We went through the Milton McDonalds drive thru this evening to get the boys food ...and as we waited we were discussing bills. When got to the window to pay, the cashier gave us back my debit card with a note on a strip of paper that said "everything will be ok 🙂". It's the little things ya'll. You can spread love, positivity, and kindness in the most simple ways. It doesn't take much effort to be this thoughtful. God shows up in the most unexpected places and He lives through all of us. “Stopped for my mother's lunch. I don't eat at Taco Bell very often so I was thrown-off by my mother's request. Had to stop my order and call back to Mom's to clarify what she wanted. The staff taking my order was cool about me stopping to call my mom and after making sure I ordered what she wanted, the order came out quick and accurate.”

“I accidently ordered food from Barboursville rather than Ashland , Ky and the manager Shawn not only refunded the order for me but also gave me a call to let me know that it was refunded. I wouldn’t have blamed them if they couldn’t have but thought that I would ask being a recent widow and on retirement income. Shawn went above and beyond. Top notch professional!”

“My husband and I tried this for the first time today! Really really good!! Service was great and the prices were very reasonable 😊 I got the big Kahuna with onion rings and my husband got a Baja Turkey Club and we shared the cheese fries. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!”

“Our daughter is battling cancer and she wanted to check out Billy Bobs. We drove there today and it was amazing. All the workers were very kind and easy to communicate with. The animatronics were awesome as well. Lastly the food was the best we have had in place like this in a long time. If the scale was a 1 - 10 I would give them a 15. If the scans go well for her, we will be back.”

“Newly renovated. Fries are great in Beef Tallow than the unhealthy seed oils. Had a garlic burger, garlic sauce on the burger and garlic salt on the bun. It was awesome! Will return.”
