12 Best Mexican Restaurants near Mineral Wells

“Stopped here on the way back from Florida with my mom in tow. She'd been losing weight and hadn't had much of an appetite since having COVID. She had no idea what to get just wanted something with guacamole. Ordered her the steak and fries with extra guacamole. She loved it. Couldn't stop raving about it and ate every bit. Kid at the counter was helpful and polite. Food came out nice and warm and quick.“

“Great food and the servers are our friends now! I go religiously every week! Cinco De Mayo rocked last night there!!“

“They have the best Mexican food around, can’t beat their Carne Asada or Quesbirria Tacos, and don’t even get me started on the consomme or their margs.“

“I love everything about this place. It starts with the lovely building with the beautiful front door. Inside the ambiance is lovely, lovely furniture and decorations. Mexican music is playing at just the right sound level. The staff are always friendly and the prices more than fair. Everything is always so clean even the bathrooms. The food is plentiful and delicious every time. My test for a Mexican restaurant is usually Carnitas. Most places make them dry. Every time I have ordered them here they have been delicious moist and juicy!! Absolutely our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area.“

“Food was GREAT, waiter was very good, knew the food, awesome service. We will definitely go back.“

“My husband took me here for Mother's Day. The food was amazing and Jesus was super nice and courteous! What a treat!“

“We absolutely love Hungry Amigos. Friendly atmosphere and excellent, always fresh, food. We visit once weekly... sometimes twice! 🥰“

“I do doordash and was waiting on an order and they gave me a free drink it was very courteous and kind and much appreciated“

“My wife and I eat here once per week. The food is almost always fresh. The service varies depending on who is working. 99% of the time, it is a positive experience. I've been to Chipotle in bigger cities. This location is far superior to these other locations. They rarely run out of the basic supplies. The restaurant is clean including the restrooms.“

“We frequent this particular Taco Bell because it's the one closest to us. They are pretty speedy but sometimes to a fault. You may have missing items or the wrong item. In rare instances we have had stale bread products that are either hard or tuff to eat ( this doesn't happen too often) but it's disappointing when it does. They have some staff that are just not people oriented and there are a couple that are great and very helpful. I must say that most of the time our food is fresh and served fast.

“The lady at the front register was very kind. I have two family members with mental disabilities and the lady was very patient and kind with them both, which isn’t very common unfortunately. She spoke to them like normal people and it was very refreshing to see.“

“It was clean and sanitary even though we had a large order and we had to wait a little bet they offered to compensate us for our wait with Taco coupons which me and my wife declined because we were fine with the way because we had such a large order they didn't complain it is heavily made our orders even though they were busy really good stuff“
