“I have always had a positive experience and excellent food at Maya. I drive 30 minutes each way at least once a week to get there at various times on weekends. Maya has evolved much in a short time, so there are bound to be growing pains when adding new people and dishes (yum!). Maya also has an atmosphere that supports family and the local community. I’ve lived all over including the southwest and Maya is among the best casual restaurants I have been to. The food is authentic due to the family connection across the border, and the head cook spends time there learning to cook authentically. I have found him and senior staff to be conscientious and dedicated to good food and friendly service. Experiences other than that seem rare, but it happens when you are growing and assessing new staff. Maya is also within the price point I have found for casual dining with fresh veggies, fresh meat and fresh spices. Finally, you always take a chance when you come in near closing at any restaurant, and I always take that into consideration. Even still, I find Maya worth the drive, worth coming back to, and worth encouraging everybody to try!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian versions are meatless, but do not use soy protein products such as tofu, seitan or tempeh.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options. Paleo, KetoParking: Downtown, Main Street so check for parade days.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room and large tables for children. Also, smaller portions for children are available.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair capability (wide entrance and aisles)“

“My family and I went to La Cascada on a recent trip to Hocking Hills and had an excellent meal! We were seated instantly, which was a surprise concidering we are a family of 7! Our food came swiftly but did not lack taste. We were pleasantly surprised, considering we entered the restaurant at the beginning of the dinner rush. The only quality lacking from this attractive establishment was music. Throughout our entire meal, there was no sound except voices and clinking of silverware. This inspired an awkward environment when there were less people inside the dining area.“

“Great food and great service. The dim lighting is so so cozy and comfortable. I Can't stand eating somewhere where the lighting is so bright, You end up with a headache instead of enjoying your food. This place doesn't do that, It's cozy and comfortable and the lighting is just enough to leave you enjoying your food and cozy at the same time. This authentic mexican place is very Underrated, Their pork is absolutely amazing. I love this place!!!!!“

“Visiting from out of town, just passing through and needed something to eat familiar & fast. 1) the girl at the window was literally the friendliest person i have ever heard at a fast food window…we almost thought she was a recording LOL. 2) the food….its Taco Bell, but what the HECK!? hands down best Taco Bell I’ve ever had???? The cheese on my Gordita was gooey and warm, our food literally looked just like the menu photos. We were blown away, honestly. I’ve never left a review for a Taco Bell before but after that i had to. Our 10 hour drive just became a little less daunting.“
