“Been going here since 2018, but food got better in the last 3 years. We dine in twice a month and are big fans of their tamales (creamy masa with tasty shredded pork in red sauce filling) and chili rellenos (a huge chile in crispy batter, stuffed with overflowing, melted cheese and topped with ground beef in red sauce. Chile still has a good bite and not overcooked at all). Their Especial Los Mariachis Fajita is huge and overflowed with shrimps, carnitas, asada, chorizo, and chicken PLUS sliced onions, green and red peppers (we always opt for jalapenos instead). And once you're seated, they'll bring you (free) chips and refreshing salsa, which has a little kick to it. We love going there! The service is good, the waiters are always polite and respectful. The restaurant is clean with nice ambiance, good background Mexican music, and clean restrooms. Prices are on point and reflect the inflation and whatnot.“

“I am visiting from Boston and just happen to spontaneously tour the Ohio Statehouse. Here, I lunched at HouseTaco which locates inside the Statehouse itself. The food is quick and fresh. Chef Zach prepared the tacos on-site with passion. They were delicious! What a hidden gem!!!“

When my friends husband went to pick up, the staff again offered condolences and helped carry the food to the car. The food was amazing to my understanding! “Just going through town and decided to try it. Not sure how this restaurant is rated so highly. Not very clean, restrooms need a lot of attention, chips/salsa taste store-bought, and service was lacking. Fajitas were great and pricing was reasonable, but won’t go back.“

“Loved this place completely until today. I've been here probably 40-50 times in the last 2 years. It's always been pretty good and good service. Today I met a friend there for dinner and we got Ismaelas a server. He got mad at us because our drinks weren't right. All we did was ask for something different. He did not like that. We got our new drinks after about 10 minutes. We ordered our food and he even repeated back to us what we were ordering as he was writing it down. Once our food came mine had onions and pico. Neither of which I eat. We waited a few minutes for him to come back around and I told him about my issue. He looked mad that I did not want the onions on my food. Literal just gave me a dirty look.I told him to just take it back and I do not need a replacement. My friend did eat his tacos. He didn't come back over to our table for a while. My buddy ran out of his drink for maybe 15-20 minutes. We told the lady at the counter but she didn't seem to care. Hopefully someone does. I've brought a lot of people to this establishment and I myself have spent a ton of money there bringing my family of 5. Ive left good reviews and always spoke highly of this place. I've always bragged about how they have it figured out. Well, today has somewhat ruined it for me. Never once were we rude or out of line. I'm guessing Ismael was having a bad day. Maybe I'll come back later in the future, maybe not. That's sucks because I really like their food.“

“We love this place. My fiance and I go for Friday night dinner date night. We always have great service and great food. They have a great happy hour everyday from 2-6. It's always such an inviting atmosphere. They have been making upgrades to the place. It looks really nice. This have booths now with high backs so your meals are in more of a private setting. You can barely see the tops of people's heads. They also have the robot that brings your drinks over to your table. I'll add some pictures soon. I love this place. And the jumbo house margarita is all you need.“

“They have the best fresh Mexican food around. Every part of your meal will be fresh from the rice to the meat to the handmade tortillas, and everything in between. Very fast service, the longest you will ever have to wait is about 15 minutes. They do only accept cash, but there is an ATM right up the road, maybe 8 buildings away.

Parking: It's located in the parking lot between "The Spot" bar and the pawnshop.

Kid-friendliness: They normally have a picnic table set up so you can sit there with your kids and eat.

Wheelchair accessibility: You can take your wheelchair right up to the order window.“

“I am so grateful they have a location downtown. It’s very close to home. I love the lighting that they have there. Plenty of windows with natural lighting. The staff is amazing! Real quick to greet you at the door and get you seated wherever you like . The restaurant is Very clean, nice and welcoming environment. Food was delicious and hot and the service was great. The server we had was very patient with me, as I asked questions about the items on the menu. Not rushing us to order at the same time paying very close attention to our needs such as Water napkins, how we were doing? How was the food? Just communicating with us. In love that. He gave us refills in the chips and salsa as well, were amazing. They come out fresh and warm. The salsa was a nice consistency. Not watery. The food was very tasty. Season to perfection! We order Taco Roberto that’s the one with the feta cheese on it. Sweet and tangy to the taste. Birria tacos with the dipping sauce hmmm it was delicious. We love the strawberry horchata!! Guacamole salad is a must! Plus rice. The pricing is reasonable for a nice day out for authentic Mexican food! Lunch, dinner! And I almost forgot to mention they have valet parking after 4 PM!!“

A bit different than traditional authentic, but a nice culinary take on enhancing a few pieces such as the corn tortilla was higher quality than any truck taco, and the onion was grilled rather than fresh. Not my favorite this way, but I really enjoyed it today as it was a nice change that tasted amazing! Then they substituted the lime wedges with a lemon wedge. But I still love my raw fresh onion and cilantro with limes better. However, this will be a new favorite taco spot of mine especially when I want a nice change from the norm! Muchas Gracias!“
