“Personally, I think this is the second best fast food restaurant in Whitehall OH.The folks at the drive thru are always polite and welcoming. They accidentally gave me the incorrect order once and as I came around to the window to tell them, they already knew and recognized my car. Told me to just keep the wrong product (understandably) and gave me the correct purchase.Highly recommend when you're on a budget and/or in a rush.“
“Food is very good. I would like to see just a little more portion of the meat I'm making the bowl and less of the lettuce to cover for the meat, and should always put guacamole in the burrito bowl. And a little more vegetables added not just a few strands to say it is in the bowlDietary restrictions: They should have a vegetarian bowl what vegetablesWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible but the doors are heavy and don't open on their own“
“Was in the neighborhood (Zaftig) and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. Found Yappy on google and decided to stop in. The young man taking our order seemed a bit confused about the menu platters vs bowls rice vs fries but was able to take the order and get it mostly right. There seemed to be a lot of confusion with the cooks from where we were standing… salad (lettuce) was a little brown for my liking and skimpy with the dressing but the details were appreciated … despite being a small side salad there was effort to get a banana pepper, wedge of tomato 2 slices of red onion, chick peas, olives and feta on each combo - which took effort … rhey get an E for effortThe fries r wendy’s size and prepared well. The gyro was also well dressed tho again could have used a splash more tzatziki sauce which I asked for an extra side, which I was charged for but did not receive.Thought the hummus was a little pricey but it was delightful and the pita was served fresh and warm .. I would try them again … except I might forgo the combo confusion and just order a gyro and fries a la carteThe gyro meat was a tad salty in places where there were no toppings (think close to the base of the pita) and not enough sauce … but it was not a deal breakerMy husband had the rice instead of fries and reported it was undercooked/underwhelming . He enjoyed the gyro and was disappointed they were out or spinach dip .Id go back, check my order more closely and as I mentioned likely stick with a la carte“
“If you are a FOODIE and have been wanting Birria tacos, you have to come here! I drove two hours to get these tacos because I've been wanting Birria bad and they were worth the drive. Crispy shell, rich beef flavor, fresh onions and cilantro and the consomme is on point. Every bite was tasty, not bland like other places in Ohio, you can actually taste the spices. This is Authentic Tijauana style red Birria tacos like you see with food bloggers on IG. The staff was super friendly. The best days to go are Thurs-Sat when the Birria is available all day. Get there early because they sell out fast.“
“Was at the market with a friend and we decided to get the nachos. They're easily the best nachos I can remember having. Styled as Southern Mexican cuisine, not the typical texmex. The owner is friendly and we had a nice conversation after we enjoyed watching them hand make their tortillas. Highly recommend. Will return.“
“the vibes were immaculate. the atmosphere is wonderful, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. I’ve never had such flavorful refried beans or yellow rice, and the meat on the tacos was tender and delicious. will def be coming back to try more of their menu !!“
“They are very welcoming always have great service and very attentive. They let me sample their special for the day the first time I went to make sure i liked it before I ordered. Also their food is sooooo good, I’m still working my way through the menu.“
“We have eaten here several times and the food and service are top notch! They have some flavorful selections that are unlike anything I've found at other Mexican restaurants. It looks like they gave a talented artist free reign on murals and painted patterns on walls and ceilings. The owners and staff obviously take a lot of pride in the quality of the food & overall experience. Highly recommend!“
“So I just moved to Ohio after living in SoCal for 16 years, and I have been so sad knowing that Del Taco doesn’t exist here. Except, I never actually looked. And WOAH, IT DOES EXIST HERE.I’m writing this review solely to alert people that Del Taco is at least 3x better than Taco Hell in any metric. TB has chalupas and Baja Blast, Del Taco has literally everything else. Do yourself a favor and never go back to TB.“
