We were there celebrating a friend's birthday. With a special occasion, you want the food to be special as well--this place did not disappoint! Everyone in our party (11) really enjoyed their selections, but I will only comment on my husband's and mine: he said his pot roast was flavorful & "fork cutting" tender. Best Japanese in town, beats most Japanese I had even while living on the West Coast in cities (with lots of choices for Japanese food) for nearly 7 years. It has always been and as long as it is open will always be the best place for authentic, fresh Japanese food. Love the awesome, friendly, talented long time Owner/Chef. i LOVE this place. i would honestly come here to eat for every meal if i could. everything is so tasty!! everyone is kind and friendly. it's a small restaurant but it's charming. and honestly? best takoyaki i've had in forever. definitely order some!
